The base model of the 2007 Subaru Impreza sedan is the 2.5i, which signifies the 2.5-liter, 173-hp, 4-cylinder engine under its hood. ABS brakes are standard, as are dual front-side airbags, daytime running lights, and a security system. Options include fog lights, a short throw shifter, and a rear spoiler, all to add a bit of sporty look and feel to the performance sedan/wagon. Special sport front seats keep you secure as you take the corners. Rear seats do not fold down, but feature an armrest/trunk pass-through.

More versatility in terms of both cargo loads and road conditions are handled by the 2007 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Wagon. Though sometimes classified with the Outback lineup, the Sport Wagon is actually based on an Impreza platform. With a stiffer suspension and higher ground clearance than the Impreza sedans and regular 2.5i wagon, the Outback Sport can take full advantage of its all-wheel drive capability.
