Nissan Nivara, Dual Cab 2008 — Great inside and out if it actually a 2008 model, tows like a dream has plenty of power. Has a great sporty look to it with out over doing it, it is a duel cab so has the extra room which is great. Handles lots of long distances trips well expecially one after the other. |

ProsGood engine, refined for a pickup, economical Consoverlight steering, lots of malfunctions, huge turning circle

Best Of All The Small Pickups — 2009 Navara LE. It's well equipped. The interior offers enough space in the front but is cramped at the back. The ride isn't brilliant due to leaf springs at the back. Very soft front suspension. The 2.5 diesel has plenty of torque and feels quick. Steering is very light and lacks in feel. It uses 10-11l of diesel per 100km. It can suffer from small but annoying malfunctions. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |

ProsThe family, dog and horses love the Navara. It is comfortable for us, the dog and pulls our horse trailer with so much ease. Well done Nissan. ConsWatch this space. Nothing yet.

Comfort And Power. — 2012 Nissan Navara. Not just a light goods vehicle, it provides comfortable travelling for 4 passengers. It is quite capable of keeping up with the average car on the motorway and obviously can cope with flooded roads and off road obstacles. We have the new x-line hard top which makes the Navara look really sporty. An exceptional all rounder vehicle. Love it. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |

Love It — feels like a car. drives softly but has the muscle of a bakkie. loves the speed, it does not take long to reach the required speed like a normal bakkie. would not exchange it for anything elsa. great family "car" Primary Use: Family transportation |

This Is A Perfect Car For Me When I Go On Holiday With My Family, Worth Its Money — This is my 07 Nissan Navara. I mainly use it to tow my American Caravan (Shown in Pic), It has light black lether heated seats, which are lovely and warm in winter. It has Parrot System, SAT NAV and a US Caravan connector/towbar. It still goes fast even with the caravan on the back, so powerful Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |

Navara — The performance is brutal for a pick-up. Handeling braking and acceleration is exellent. Build Quality could have been better in some places but nothing to bad. In my view it is the most aggresive pick-up on the road in South Afrika today. Very fun to drive and just thrash around. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Prossuperior performance acceleration and top speed in its class Consride height is low.

Very Impressive Piece Of Work — excellent in class aceleration top speed, loads of low end rev grunts 15000 km service intervals, are way better than my previous nissan, a hardbody extremely fun to drive both off road and at the mall. Very spacious, especially in comparison to the hardbody, but mostly plastic and cloth interior in my LE. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |

ProsNice acceleration for an engine that is quite massive. ConsLight weight body tends to be prone to gliding and tail drift.

It's Just Worth The Price. — Performance: In its range, it has the best acceleration for the price tag. Braking depends on your tyres, as does handling. But in terms of performance, its definitely worth it when you know how to drive to the limit. Build: It is quite fragile though. Does not like rough terrains and rolling grounds. Rattles quite a bit when on gravel. But on tarmac/asphalt, it just tears apart what's beneath when you press down the pedal. Appearance: Quite basic as compared to other makes. But, extremely versatile when it comes to tuning. Depends on owners tastes. Costs: Not so good in terms of fuel economy. Yet, does a great few miles before your next visit to the service station. Maintenance is quite remarkable as it is relatively low cost. Routine repairs, tough engine. Fun Factor: The light weight body helps to increase the fun of driving when you come to experience rear-wheel drive. Burn outs and wheel spins tend to remain the best part. Yet, the drive is quite fun, given it offers the near comfort of a mid-range car and the stability of a pickup. My best experience remains drifting on muddy grounds... Try it.. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
