CarGurus Overview
All-wheel drive capability is the major benefit of the 2007 Nissan Murano S AWD crossover. Its all-wheel drive system features a limited slip differential and center locking differential. A 3.5-liter, 245-hp V6 engine and smooth-shift CVT transmission power the Murano S AWD, and it comes with the ABS brakes, new tire monitor, and dual front-side and front and rear airbags that you'll find in the 2WD base model. Stability and traction control are not available on the Murano S. The 2007 Murano S AWD shares features with the 2WD model, including full power equipment and a 4-way power driver's seat, a trip computer, intermittent front and rear wipers, dual-zone climate control, cruise control (operated from the steering wheel), leather and alloy interior trim, and a CD player. The back row actually reclines and can also split-fold 60/40 for more trunk room. 18-inch alloy wheels and a subtle rear spoiler decorate the exterior. Options range from a 10-way driver's seat with power-adjustable pedals, to a roof rack, to a towing package, to splash guards. Drivers say the Murano S AWD is comfortable and the CVT works great. One problem is a tendency for the brakes to squeal when in reverse.
