Pros

Great all around driving vehicle. Great comfort and handling. Very reasonable gas mileage for the size and weight.Comfortable and safe feeling on long trips.

Cons

Cost of parts for routine maintenance a little pricey for the performance level achieved. Must have the most expensive rear view camera on the market at $860.00 Canadian to replace.

I'd Buy Another In A Heart Beat And Hope The Rear Camera Doesn't Fail. — Cost of replacing the camera and the unusual electrical connections making it difficult to find an aftermarket replacement with O.E.M. plug'n'play. Otherwise the exterior finish has stayed very good with great eye appeal. Paint has retained its original luster. No rattles or squeaks after 7 years and nearly 70k miles. No real outstanding maintenance issues outside routine maintenance and the large diameter hose between the air filter and the "throttle" tending to separate causing motor run issues. Convex mirrors attached to the side view mirrors solved blind spot problems. Very comfortable power to weight ratio, great road handling and respectable braking even when towing an 2400 lb. boat/trailer setup. Love the vehicle and would buy it again!!

Geat Safe Car — We love this car but need a third seat. We have six Grandchildren. It is awesome on trips because it has a trip package. Back seats recline. Good on gas and is very reliable. Tons of leg room and luggage room.

Pros

Great styling and really looks fast even though it's not built for speed. The CVT really offers a smoother ride than many vehicles, once the car gets moving. The versatility of fold-down rear seats was great for going to big box stores for home improvement.

Cons

The fuel economy is not the best and on average, we got 19 mpg highway. On top of this, Nissan recommends premium fuel so for our budget-minded family, it's not the best choice.  Additionally, when we did require service, the parts weren't so cheap. Fortunately, I was able many times to work with the dealer service department and I on my own found a cheaper part that they were able to price match. Kudos to them!

Great Car If You Have Some Cash! — I think it's a great and comfortable vehicle to drive, and the option are out of this world. While sitting in the driver's side of the cabin, one honestly could believe they are on the bridge of the star ship ENTERPRISE. It didn't work for us because it's not for the thrifty and if you want one of these, you probably care a great deal about your appearance in the eyes of others. In addition, although the car is roomy and offers many custom styling options, you may want to think about your fuel and life cycle costs.

Murano, You Have Been Great To Own! — This Nissan Murano is the way to go for comfort and reliability. It definitely has been great for short trips and long ones. The gas mileage is good for a vehicle this size and it handles great in ice and snow. I love the feature that lets you downshift on the fly in slippery conditions.

Pros

Looks great, very comfortable, great cargo capacity, even has reclining seats in the rear.

Cons

Gas mileage is so so. Average 18city/22-24hwy. Repairs are expensive, but its a luxury vehicle so that's expected. Price can be high, so look for a deal.

Best Suv I've Ever Driven. — This car has everything you could want. Stock includes 18" rims, pwr windows/mirrors/locks. Ours also has fog lights, leather seats, heated front seats and side view mirrors, and a sun roof. This is one of the only cars we saw with 4 wheel disc brakes, and believe me they work great. This has been one of the best SUVs I've ever driven. It rides and handles like a car, but has better clearence than many other SUVs. With the AWD on my rig, we never have any issues with the snowy roads of northeastern Washington. There are really only 3 cons to this car, but they all are common. 1. Gas mileage isn't great. However, for this year all SUVs were either worse or about the same. It just can't compare to brand new SUVs. 2. Repairs are expensive. We had to replace a high pressure power sterring hose when we purchased it. The total cost was a little over $500. Remember that this is a luxury vehicle though. You would expect to pay the same if not more for a BMW, Mecedes, or Audi. 3. Purchase cost is often high. Again its a luxury vehicle, so no surprise. Its also a very popular car, so there's a lot of demand. In my area they were selling for around $20k when I purchased. I was able to go to another area and get it for just $13k.

Absolutely Love My Nissan Murano!! — I like EVERYTHING about my car! GREAT room, durable, comfortable, stylish, just AMAZING!! Love that it has good ground clearance to be an SUV, I live on a dirt road and its perfect. So much better than a car or truck I have owned in the past.

Pros

Transmission rocks, interior is sleek and beautiful...love my Murano!

Cons

Brakes squeak and I procrastinate too much to go get them fixed...since I bought it...it was a problem across the board on the 07 Quests and 07 Muranos

Sleek And Sporty And Classy And Gets The Job Done, Son! — I decided to look at the Murano because I had originally been looking at the Infiniti FX35 but that only comes in leather. I didn't want leather for Hawai'i, so I test-drove the Murano and fell in love immediately...the interior is huge. Great head and leg room for me (5'9") and my husband (6'1") in the front. The back is gigantic and the back seats even recline! So much space for moving stuff and going to the beach with friends. Decent stock stereo. Love this car...it's beautiful...

Still A Terrific Looking Car That Does What It Is Built To Do. — Average acceleration and handling, but it is a crossover. Interior has a metalic look. However, this car has been a gem from a reliability and has needed service only for wear and tear items (brake pads, tires, etc) at 63,000 miles. Gas mileage is ~19MPG.

Great Family Car — This car was great when my wife and I started our family. Has child seat latches in all 3 positions in the back. However, can not comfortable attach 3 car seats at once. We are expecting our third child this fall and need a bigger vehicle.
