Very Nice Dependable Vehicle For A Student Or Small Family. Perfect For Daily Commutes. — This is a very attractive looking vehicle inside and out with surprising handling and performance. Comfortable seating from and back even for adults. Large cargo trunk area to keep groceries or luggage. Nice sounding stereo system which was a big surprise also. I have to say this one is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Very sporty hiding in a family sedans clothes.

Pros

SmartKey, push button ignition, automatic headlights, fuel efficiency,
steering wheel audio controls, overall awesomeness.

Cons

Right front speaker has already blown, it was not due to overdriving.  I think
it's just crappy.

Great Vehicle — I have owned this car now for eight months or so. I have taken several 15 hour trips in it and its incredibly comfortable. I love all the features that it has and I also love the smart key.

Pros

Gas mileage of the 2.5 was excellent.

Cons

Would spring for the V6 next time and sacrifice some mileage

Reliable Daily Driver — This was the first car I purchased after graduating college. It was my daily driver, and went on numerous road trips across the county. It ran smooth, and was quiet on the highway. Wasn't the best in the snow, as the OEM continental tires were pretty bad. Replaced with Generals and traction improved.

Pros

Great fuel mileage and looks sporty.

Cons

The only thing I disliked about this car was that the front seats get uncomfortable after four hours of straight driving.

Great Car — This is a great choice as a family car. Fuel mileage is excellent compared to similar models. Altima's with 3.5 are sporty and have plenty of power. The only thing I disliked about this car was that the front seats get uncomfortable after four hours of straight driving.

Pros

Fun, easy to drive, great gas mileage, CVT rocks - no shifting on acceleration

Cons

My husband says the tires are loud - I don't notice though

My Altima Rocks! — Accelerates great - no shifting with the CVT! Love the way the interior is laid out - it's a great commuter car for my 90 mile rt commute 4 days/week. Tons of leg room for front seat passenger, which I love! Back seat is spacious and the trunk is awesome! Fun to drive? Absolutely! Cheap to maintain also - I've gotten up to 40 mpg on my Altima, so am VERY happy with it's performance. I love to drive it!

Pros

fun to drive, I had 4 cylinder and it got around very well, even over mountain passes no problem.  Decent gas mileage, very smooth acceleration, smooth auto transmission, intuitive controls (didn't have any fancy extras so can't comment on things like nav).   Looked great, got a lot of compliments.  Much quieter interior than comparable cars I test drove (Accord, Camry).

Cons

Front seats could have been a little more comfortable.  Trunk has hinges that crush anything under them if you don't notice they are there before you close the trunk.  Back seat room OK but not really a 3 adult width.  OK in snow but better with studded tires.

Sporty, Smooth, Very Well Priced For What You Get. — Loved that it was so zippy with just the 4 cylinder-not sure what the 6 was like, except more expensive and maybe better at making tires squeal. Very attractive body styling. Super smooth automatic transmission. Never had a thing go wrong with it in the 4 years I had it. A lot of fun to drive and I always appreciated that a Camry or Accord of the same size and options was a couple thousand or more expensive than the Altima

Cons

low headroom in backseat, gas mileage not as good as  '02 3.5 SE I owned previously,

Acceleration Smooth & Powerful, Braking Is Good, General Handling Is Very Good — Only real drawback for me is that gas mileage is worse than '02 Altima with same package, but appearance, more solid construction and quieter ride are great pluses. Have only good things to say about the car in general. Thanks!

Balanced Success — So far I like everything on this car. I looks great and runs beautiful. Maybe the cornering could be a little stronger (perhaps changing the sway bar) when I need to turn fast. I simply like my car! Have a great day!

I Love It But Have To Sell It! — I loved this car. Never owned a Nissan before but definitely will again. Top of the line even for a base model! Loved the push start keyless ignition, etc. So much power and just hugs the road! Beautiful inside and out. It was so comfortable and very quiet.
