2007 Mazda CX-9 Sport Trim Overview

The 2007 Mazda CX-9 Sport comes in as the base trim for this new sporty, seven-passenger crossover. The front-wheel-drive CUV features three rows of seating and a cargo hold that expands from 17.2 cubic feet to 100.2 cubic feet when both the 60/40 reclining second row and 50/50 third row are folded flat. A roof rack costs extra. A power liftgate and cargo cover can also be added.

The crossover rides on a fully independent Macpherson strut front and multi-link sport-tuned suspension, with 18-inch alloy wheels and all-season tires. A 24-valve, 3.5-liter DOHC V6 and 6-speed sport-shifting automatic put out 263 hp and 249 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 RPM, achieving 18/24 mpg and 3,500 pounds of towing power.
