Pros

Love the room in the car as well as the Bluetooth feature.

Cons

Only thing I've discovered I don't like is the tire size. Costly to replace.

Loved This Car Since We First Test Drove It. — Features of this car were exactly what we were looking for in a car. My wife and I absolutely fell in love with the car. The third row is nice for if we have extra riders and that it doubles as extra storage when needed.

Pam's Cx-9 — Performance-great acceleration has a lot of get up and go.Handling of this vehicle is easy. Good for long trips or just trips around town. This is a fun vehicle to drive gets lot of looks and is a class of its own. Added 20 inch black rims and painted brake calipers red. I think this sets this vehicle above the rest.

Looks good, good features, it's quick & handles great.

Cons

MPG is horrible, too much interior plastic, dents to easily

Good Buy If You Need A Good Looking Family Hauler. — Performance: Handles great & excellerates confidently considering there is only a 6 cyl under the hood. Build Quality: Well put together & has one of the roomiest & comfortable 3rd rows. Exterior used metal that dented too easily. Interior was good looking, but had a little too much plastic for it's price range. Appearance: One of the better looking SAV/SUV's available at the time, especially for the price. Cost of Ownership: Medium, primarily due to the poor city mileage. Over all it was a good buy at the time. It provided excellent functionality & handling, both of which were priorities. The 3rd row seating is best in class. At the time the lease was priced right, mileage was generous for us & the dealership experience was excellent. Lease-end was another matter. Apparently there was bad blood after Ford sold the captive finance arm of Mazda & they decided to take it out on the leasees. The attitude was that only the owner could purchase the vehicle for the lease price. It couldn't be sold or traded at that price to maintain the equity we had. I was so pissed I almost didn't go back to Mazda. However my dealer made amends as best they could & have kept me as a loyal owner.

Gas Mileage

2007 Mazda Cx-9 — Gas mileage sucks, but its much better than my Jeep Cherokee got and that was a smaller vehicle. A few more miles in city would have been nice. The 3rd row seats are decent for a full size adult to use if needed. It is a great family truckster without the truckster look.

Cons

Too expensive

Beautiful Suv With Excellent Interior — Surprisingly, this car is better on gas than the CX-7 I drove because the CX-9 was a turbo. So the CX-9 has two more cylinders and a lot more room but still gets better mileage. Very smooth to drive, love the Sat- Nav.
