Well Engineered, Well Balaced, Gogerous Runing Shoes — Maybe... not as nimble as Lotus, not as trendy as TT, not as gas-saving as Prius,... Mini definetely makes you smile, by, fabulous look, tramendous torque, superb handling, and unique characteriztics. Not a low price tag car, but always makes the money worth.

Pros

Performance, build quality, appearance, fun factor kicks your ass

Cons

fast launch, but not a long distance driving car

Mini Cooper S Ftw — Acceleration, braking and handling superb; some rattling in the front; interior/exterior styling fab; gas mileage goes without saying the most economical I have ever had; fun factor surpasses my expectations; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for city/metro drivers, and if you are just going for the looks of the car then get something else; this car is not for the faint of heart.

Pros

Great Fuel Economy, with out losing the fun

Cons

Run Flat tires can add a rough ride

Love The Mini S — This care handles like a go cart, has quick acceleration and currently gets 35.5 miles to the gallon average. One of the best features is the Sport Button option, which takes the care from everyday to fun in half a second. I would recommend this car to any of my friends.

Great If You Plan To Sell It Before The Warranty Expires — I fell in love with this car the moment I drove it. I picked everything out from the factory so it really felt like MY car. It is the non-turbo with a stick. It was a small car but did not feel like a small car. It felt like a BMW solid and responsive. It was an absolute joy to drive and it got about 500 miles per gallon. It's fatal flaw was its quality. As a whole Mini Coopers are incredibly poor quality. I had several repairs under warranty and the particular model I got was actually the most reliable. The automatic transmissions blow every 55-75K and the turbo motors get valve rattle sometimes within weeks of purchase. They call it the "Death Rattle". Although I LOVED this car more than any other car I have ever owned I cannot recommend it unless you purchase the extended service package to 54K and then sell it before it hits that number. If you are willing to do this you will have a lot of fun.

Pros

Fun to drive

Cons

Runflat tyres don't like potholes

Great Little Car — Excellent fun to drive the MINI. Torquey turbo charged engine, means you don't have to thrash it to have fun. Great handling and predictable when pushing hard. Loves twisty B roads. If you are bothered about MPG / Performance compromise, and don't like the idea of a diesel car, this is perfect.

Fun to drive

Cons

Storage can be a little small

Great Car To Drive — I have one sharp car, that is fun to drive. Performance wise, it could use a few more horsepower (though that would probably get me in more trouble) As for appearances, it is a car that turns heads. So Far, cost of ownership has been fairly low as it gets good gas mileage and all maintenance is included in the purchase price.
