Pros

Great Handling, Fantastic Mileage, You can park it absolutely anywhere! and quite possibly the most fun car to drive on the road.

Cons

I have absolutely no complaints.

2007 Mini Cooper S — I could not be happier with my car. A MINI Cooper is a car for life. These things are practically indestructible! I can take turns going way faster *within the speed limit* than anyone else on the road. You can do so much more with this car because of it's low center of gravity and clever design of placing the wheel's at the very outer corners. The handling is incredible no matter if you get an automatic or a stick shift. It accelerates at a faster rate than you would guess because of a powerful engine and light chassis design. The styling of the new 2008s is slightly different than the 2007s *which is why I bought an '07 instead of waiting another month for an '08, the '07 is more attractive". The 2007s and later are also 2" longer than any previous year which provides that much more trunk space which is greatly appreciated in a car as small as this. If you're looking for a car with high mileage but don't want one of those nasty hybrids, a MINI is the car for you. I get 40 mpg on the freeway and around 32 in the city in an automatic. A stick shift gets between 3 and 5 miles more per gallon. The bottom line is this car is an over-grown, street legal go-kart that is incredibly fun to drive. But people with lead feet beware...THIS CAR CAN GET YOU IN TROUBLE!! Take if from someone who knows. ;D

Pros

Fun to drive

Cons

Storage can be a little small

Great Car To Drive — I have one sharp car, that is fun to drive. Performance wise, it could use a few more horsepower (though that would probably get me in more trouble) As for appearances, it is a car that turns heads. So Far, cost of ownership has been fairly low as it gets good gas mileage and all maintenance is included in the purchase price.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

It's Crazy Awesome — Most fun I have ever had driving a car. I would only wish a mid size SUV was made to handle as well as this car. The gas mileage is exceptional. Anyone who loves these cars should own one in their lifetime!! :)

Pros

EVERYTHING !!!!!! :)

Cons

you can't put a SUV quanity of itme in the car, but that wasn't what it was built for.  If you need a lot of room don't purchase the car and say bad things, be realistic.

Mini Review For The Common Person — Best car in it's class !!!! Mileage is 37 mpg, fit and finish is high-quality, preformance is OUTSTANDING !!!! I am 6.0 tall and built like a linebacker and the car is extremely comfortable fior a guy my size. I can put my whole family of 4 in the car comfortably. If you do a lot of driving and have a passion for cars or need a long-term daily driver vehicle that gets great mileage, is fun and will last a long time, you need this car. $500 down let's you customize the car to your personality and budget if it is not on the lot. Don't walk, RUN, RUN, RUN to the dealer and if you are in Kansas City go to Baron Automotive and ask for Liz, but most importanly tell them Bernard sent you. I need the referral fee, please.

Fun! — I love my MINI... it's a great car, lots of safety features, very fun to drive (I have trouble keeping it from my hubby!). It has great acceleration and believe it or not, handles great in the snow!! The convertible top is great and easy to use.

Pros

It is blast to drive. Love the sound of the turbo screaming when I get on it.  Handles like a charm. There are no dead spots. Car has personality inside and out.

Cons

Run flats on 17" wheels is harsh. Repairs are expensive

Mini Has Great Personality — Handling through curves and acceleration is exceptional. The car is exciting and looks cool. Good brakes. Seats are comfortable. Interior lighting is modern. On board computer is ok. Replace run flats with non-run flat high performance tires for a superior ride. Average mileage is 28mpg with mostly city hard driving. Body is sound. Over time there are little rattles that are annoying. Must watch the oil regularly (weekly), otherwise the engine will be garbage. Overall a great experience.

Great Commuter Or City Car — This car is incredibly reliable. I have a long commute to work, and this thing is great on gas and handles smoothly--it makes the laborious drive much more pleasant. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who needs a good commuter car, or who just needs a great city car. Its the perfect solution to the sparse parking in SF--it fits in just about anywhere.

Fun Car To Drive — Love the zip and cornering. 6speed is responsive, had supercharger instead of turbo, turbo is faster. I averaged 27mpg, newer models get alot better. Terrible resale value since market is over run with used minis. The S is better car.

Great Little Car! Good Every Day Driver — We use the Mini every day as a commuter and it excels for that! Great in the snow and super fun to drive. Handles great and is very quick. Feels bigger inside and can haul lots of stuff. Just an overall great car.

Fun Car! — It's not the most practical car around, but it's a fun ride and it gets great gas mileage. Just keep in mind that it uses BMW parts, though, so expect a BMW sized repair bill when you take it in for service!
