CarGurus Overview

The best news for the Mark LT in 2007 is that there's an option for a longer wheelbase (150.5 vs. 138.5) with a 6.5-foot cargo bed rather than the standard 5.5-foot. This of course stresses the utility of the Mark LT 4x2 Extended Bed even more, as its payload capacity increases to a stalwart 1,680 pounds. The trailer tow package includes the  Reverse Sensing System, which beeps if there is something in the truck's path.
The Mark LT, a luxury pickup based on the redesigned Ford F-150, is now in its second year. Its no-nonsense nose and abundance of chrome announce with bold certainty that this is the Navigator's little brother.
With a 5.4-liter, three-valve V8, the truck truly means business; with 365 lb.-ft. of torque, it is capable of towing 8,900 pounds when equipped with tow package. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and electronic throttle control comes standard and delivers smooth shifting.
And whatever you're pulling, your ride should be quiet, since the trademark Quiet Steel construction, thick glass, an extra-stiff body and frame, and other insulating measures keep down road noise. The double-wishbone suspension and coil-over shocks work with rack-and-pinion steering to give the LT a wonderful ride and handling
Lincoln has created an interior that's both stylish and spacious. Comfortable leather seats (with 6-way power-adjust and two memory settings on the driver's) are part of the basic package, and wood trim and satin-nickel accents add a plush touch. The backseat is spacious and easy to get into and out of, thanks to full-sized rear doors.

As for safety, the Mark LT did well in NHTSA testing, earning 5 stars in each of the crash tests and 4 in the rollover test. Safety features run from multi-stage air bags and seat belt pretensioners to ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution on rear brakes, which is great to have when the truck is carrying heavy loads.
Your well-being will otherwise be looked after with the SecuriLock perimeter-alarm system, which is activated if somebody tries to enter the vehicle after the key is removed; the engine cannot be started without the coded key. The remote keyless entry comes with a panic alarm, and the driver's door also has a keyless-entry pad for punching in an access code.
Other notable standard features include an Audiophile sound system with seven speakers plus an 8-inch subwoofer, Electronic Automatic Temperature Control, and 18-inch spoked wheels. Some of the available options are 20-inch chrome wheels, skid plates, heated mirrors, a monochrome package, Sirius satellite radio, a moonroof, a Navigation system, and a modular overhead storage system.

This overview covers the Extended trim only.
