Pros

This car has been awesome.  It has a new battery, new tires, and the black shines like a mirror!  It likes to run -- fast!  It is especially stable on snow and even glare ice. More than a few times it has done wonders in the winter up and down I-29. I would rather drive it than anything else in bad weather.

Cons

When you drive it hard, especially in the cold, the mileage drops. On the Interstate I've gotten 27 mpg.  Probably would get more if I didn't nudge it a bit.

If You Gotta Drive A Mini-van, This Is The One! — We drove this car to Nashville on a college visit and to Calgary to visit family. The DVD and sound system entertained on the multi-day trips, with wireless headphone technology, no less! With the luggage rack and a topper -- we had lots of room to spare. I carted much of my mother's gear about as I sold her house; the rear seats fold down and the second row comes out in a snap! The car has a notable Kia transmission thing, like it's winding up its power before it downshifts. Letting it do so saves gas, but when you really gotta zoom, like I did in Nashville --WOW! Who knew a mini van would squeal tires and throw everyone back in their seats! (Only did this the one time. Heard about it for a long, long, time, those slushies in the laps -- brrrr! Still hear about it.) Seriously, compared to my Honda Civic coupe, which is no slouch, this thing has BEEF. For about six years we drove this van, our only reliable vehicle at the time. It will be sorely missed. The car is normally in Brookings, but we still drive it, and are very willing to bring it to Sioux Falls or to meet you halfway, if it helps.

It Is Very Stylish For The Price! — I like the many cup holders, the shifter is in a wierd spot but it works. It has lots of storage. The two back rows of seats come out, which is nice. Yes it is a very fun car to drive. Gas mileage is very great.

Very Happy With Purchase — I like the car very much. Handles well. Plenty of room for 3 kids even with the SWB. Still having trouble with kids being able to open rear sliding doors to get out. It's not a child safty lock issue. But driving me crazy that i have to get out to open the door for them from the outside.Very happy with service at dealership which was highly recomended by a neighbor- confident they will resolve the door problem. Seems to take a long time for heat.

Pros

Spacious, easy to drive, easy to fold seats, great entertainment centre for the kids.

Cons

Gas mileage - although any vehicle with these gas prices costs too much!

Great Import With Better Than Average Performance! — We bought this van to replace our 2004 Astro. This has been a great vehicle for us. Many bells and whistles at less the cost than other imports. Overall performance has been good. Great pickup on the highway and good handling. Has not needed any repairs as of yet. The interior is gorgeous with leather seating. Love the heated front seats in the winter! Gas mileage could be better but it is definitely an improvement from the Astro! Is it fun to drive? Absolutely! With the sunroof and smart exterior I enjoy driving this vehicle very much.

Pros

I did alot of research before I bought my Sedona.  It rated high on safety and consumer reports and other customers rated it highly too.  I loved it when I first got it and for about the first year.

Cons

After about a year lots of stuff started going wrong.  The automatic doors were intermittent and then one passenger door stopped opening all together.  Then I broke the door handle off trying to open manually.  It was still under warranty so I was able to fix it but the dealership did a crappy job and the door won't open at all now and the door handle is about to break again.  The car has 72K miles now and all kinds of problems.  Besides the doors the ESC goes off and on, the cruise isn't working, and I found out after replacing tires 2X at 30K miles each for 60K mile tires that there has been a flaw in the allignment, probably since the factory that can't be fixed!  Oh the plastic latch on the one back door that works has broken twice so the door won't stay closed properly and flies open when I make left turns, really great with kids in the back, plus the door ajar alarm goes off continously and I  can not secure the door.  I can't wait to get rid of it!

Crap — I liked it for the first year or so before all the problems started. I drive on alot of dirt roads because we live in the country and maybe it would have held up better if it wasn't driven on the dirt roads all the time.
