More Vehicle For The Money Than I Ever Thought I Could Afford by skippy_0319
 — I bought my 2007 Rondo V-6 LX in Feb 2011 used. I am in love with it. TONS of room, and such an open roomy feeling when I'm driving. Visability on all sides is great. I do alot of freeway driving ... Read More
Decent Ride by pjrocks54
 — Decent Mileage. Comfortable. Nice sound system. Very nice ride. Some say it looks like a van. It has plenty of room for people or just hauling stuff. All in all, I'll get another Rondo if available in... Read More
Awesome Suv, Minivan, Wagon??? by pjrocks54
 — I love the cargo and passenger space. The 4 cylinder engine is great off the line. So far the hwy/city mileage is about 22mpg. I think it will get better as there are less than 700 miles on the Rondo ... Read More

2007 Kia Rondo

Brand new for 2007 is the Kia Rondo, a compact crossover that sits on an Optima platform and competes directly with the slightly longer Mazda 5.  The 2007 Rondo's lines and edges look like a mini-minivan, and though it comes standard with two rows of seats, you have the option of a third row, seating up to seven people altogether.
A choice of a 2.4-liter, 162-hp I4 or 2.7-liter, 182-hp V6 engine powers the 2007 Rondo.  The 4-cylinder comes with a 4-speed automatic, and the V6 with a 5-speed automatic.  No manual is available.  Though it can carry up to three rows of seats (leaving little trunk space when all seats are up), the Rondo has conventional rear passenger doors instead of sliding doors.  These doors are longer, however, for easier access.  Both rows fold flat, though you do have to remove the headrests from the second row.
Two trim levels are available -- the base LX and the sportier EX.  All come standard with power features, and plenty of safety features.  Kia prides itself on its safety ratings, and the 2007 Rondo comes with ABS brakes, stability control, six airbags, and a tire pressure monitor.  The EX adds on roof rails, chrome interior trim, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather trim, cruise control, and keyless entry.  Option packages provide a sunroof, heated leather seats, and a rear spoiler.
The new Rondo looks too much like a minivan, to the disappointment of some owners wanting a more stylish vehicle.  The lack of a manual option and bland interior styling are other complaints.  Most drivers love the handling and smooth ride of the 2007 Rondo.  Though not meant for speed, it darts around satisfactorily.  Headroom is great, though access to the third row is difficult and overall body room minimal.  The safety features are highly touted, as is the visibility.

Lx Or Ex

how can I tell if my new used LX is also EX? It says it is on the dealer's agreement, but it only says LX on the vehicle.
