As with the FX35, Infiniti decided to simply touch up the FX45 crossover SUV for 2007.  Other than a new seatbelt reminder and optional iPod connection, you'll find that the FX45 remains the same sporty and powerful model from previous years.  This vehicle comes in one trim: AWD.
As far as the basics go, the FX45 has 4 doors and seats 5.  The powertrain features a 4.5 L, 320 hp V8 engine with 5 speed automatic transmission.  Expect to find 65 cubic feet in cargo room.  As for fuel consumption, you'll get 14 mpg in the city, 18 on the highway.  Cool high-tech specs include a 300 watt Bose audio system and Bluetooth.
Overall, drivers have the same issues with the FX45 as they do with the FX35.  They'd like to see a little more cargo room, more luxury in the interior, and a third row to match most traditional SUV's.  However, Infiniti intended for the FX45 to deliver the best of both worlds: sporty performance coupled with extra power.  Expect the Infiniti FX45 to develop as it continues to define its own identity.
