2007 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS Review
Prossafe, fuel efficient, reliable ConsI haven't experienced anything negative with my car.

Very Impressed! — I love the look, the leather interior, the size, the inside lighting, and it is very safe and roomy for my growing family. It has proven to be very reliable to get me to and from work. There is still room in the backseat with my daughter's carseat to accomodate other passengers. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Go Get One — our santa fe was great my dad has it now and bought a 2010 last night sothere you are.....fuel consoption is reasonable 10.5L average city, highway 3500lbs towing the awd worked great for all the years we had it just a 20 min. repare on the stabilizer link arms was the only problem.... Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

ProsIts a superb everyday workhorse. ConsTypical Korean maintenance schedule.

Best Suv For Its Price. — Its a good Crossover SUV, Decent acceleration, I had to modify the tires width to get impressive handling. The stock tires does not give the confidence I need on the road. Major repair of undercarriage at 80,000. Easy to drive for an SUV. Runs on diesel, burns fuel like a car. Recline-able rear seats. Rear seats tumble down to increase cargo space. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsAll the options, roomy interior, sleek look, durable interior. ConsEngine not built to last, slow acceleration.

Middle Road Suv — It's a nice car for families, it has a smooth ride, it's spacey, and has some great options. However, the engine isn't so top of the line. We've had the car for over a year, and put quite a few miles on it, but it lost it's new car feel quite fast.

Liked It Better Than The Previous Model — Nicer than the previous -2005 Models. more space and very smooth, same engine as 2006 azera. the 2005 model was too smal (knees against dash), 2005 model had 4wd that was very noisy. did not like the back door either. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsGood value, comfortable ride, powerful engine. ConsPoor MPG, soft brakes, questionable styling

A Lot Of Suv For The Money — When we first settled on the Santa Fe I didn't love the look of it, but it's grown on me over the years. The interior is comfortable and looks good. I did like the 3.3L V6 as soon as I test drove it. I find the brakes a little soft, but I have no complaints about the handling, and we've had no major issues in 5 years and 63k miles.

ProsEconomical, great for getaways with the family for camping ConsSmall engine

Good Family Suv — 2.2 turbo diesel, economical, well made, good braking, handles well. Tows small camping trailers well, even pulled a stuck mid-size truck off the beach. 4WD comes in handy but not recommended as a 4WD vehicle. 7 seats are useful at different times. Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros3rd row seat, car-like handling, towing capability, loaded with features. ConsGas mileage could be better compared to other small SUV's, wouldn't be good for a tall person. 100k warranty is not fully transferable.

Great — We're happy that we opted to get the 3.3 L V6. It has decent pickup. There's been no repairs needed yet. My wife preferred the look of the car over the Toyota Rav 4. It's a step up from the plasticy look of previous Santa Fe models. Handles freeway driving really well. Primary Use: Family transportation |
