Overall Satisfied — It handles really well. Built well except some rattles within the interior. It is not a smooth ride....really feel bumps in the road, but still fun to drive. Looks nice and quite roomy for its size. Gas mileage is good....averaging 37 MPG

Great Fun, Great Fuel Economy, Great Room, Just A Great Car! — I replaced my 2000 Tundra V8 Limited with this little puppy. Get's great fuel economy even with the heavier 16" HFP wheels. It averages 38mpg in Colorado where I keep it at my parent's house. Drives Beautifully! The manual transmission makes it quick and snappy to drive, just a lovely little car. So far no real problems.

Amazing Car! — great on gas, very fun to drive, pretty dam quick for being a 4 cylinder, small car with a lot of room on the inside, acceleration response is great, braking is amazing, handling is great too. overall a great car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

If You Have A Long Commute, Like To Find Parking In A City And Need A 5 Person Capacity, Buy One. — The combination of amazing handling, great fuel economy, astounding interior space for size, and low price make an unbeatable match. I love filling the tank with only eight + gallons of fuel, it's easy on the wallet, but limits the range to about 325 miles between fillups. The power is sufficient, but it would be much more fun if it had more power, but not at the expense at increased fuel consumption. This is a great small car with lots of space, much more interior space than a civic. I highly recommend this car especially to a commuter or city goer as you can park it anywhere!

Pros

Unbelievable space, thrifty on gas, fun to drive

Cons

Cheap interior plastics, road and tire noise

A Simple, Spacious, Cheap Yet Fun Runabout Honda. — Engine could use more poke, but chassis balance is great because the car weighs just a bit over 1000 kg (2200 lb). The build quality is good although cheap plastics abound, and refinement isn't a strong suit due to stiff rear springs and high levels of road/tire noise. It's small, cute as a button and easy to park, yet has more space than you would think - it can haul a lot of irregularly-shaped things. This car can run forever on regular servicing and is cheap to keep as a daily driver. Definitely fun to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Zippy, interior volume, looks, gearbox, gas mileage

Cons

Driving position

The Fit Is Go — The Fit can "fit" just about anything inside. This car has more interior volume than my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The gas mileage is excellent as I have marked 40 mpg at least three times over the last year of ownership. Even though the inside is big, the driving position for a 6'3" guy is not the best. Long trips get to be longer. However, the around town stuff is a breeze. Need a gallon of milk? The Fit makes it quick and fun with the optional flappy paddle gearbox. Very rare in a car costing $15,000. Build quality is right up there, it is a Honda anyway. The insurance is average and the maintainence is average also. Just keep up with what the books tell you can this car can run forever.

Cons

Needs more power!

Fit Is Go! — I will admit its underpowered. But I knew that when I was researching and when I bought it. I was looking for something that does well on MPG. And it certainly has done that and beyond. When I was commuting to DC I avg about 38-40mpg, granted that was all high way. But I was liking it, and now that I work around Baltimore city, I avg about 30-32. Which is still decent, the underpower makes the engine work harder in the stop and go traffic. But from what I hear the new 2009 Fits have more HP and do better in the stop and go traffic. Other then the power, I love how the lil thing handles. It is extremely stable, built sturdy, and the interior is genious! With the "Magic" seats, which make hauling just about anything easy as pie.

Best Econo Car — Excellent gas millage! I get 36 CITY! I do have the 5 speed manual and MPG goes down when it gets winter here in Illinois; closer to 32-33 city. Even though it cost less than $17K, this car's fit (no pun) and finish are on par with some $20K vehicles. The interior textures are a nice mix of microfiber and plastic. That is where some money savings are evident. Not much metal inside the Fit. The exterior styling may take some getting used to, but check out some street-racer mods out there and you can see it's sportiness shine! Very good to excellent little city commuter with enough quick handling to be somewhat go-cart-like. Topping off the tank from halfway for $17 ain't too bad either. (5 gal @ $3.40gal)

Cons

I hate the carpet in it!

My Fit Rocks! — I love its go-kart like handling! It's fun and maneuverable. It sips gas (when I stay out of the v-tec) and is comfortable & has an amazing amount of room! Mine has the HFP (Honda Factory Performance Alloy Rims) and it can go through corners better than ANY other car in its class.

Great For A First-time Car Buyer! — I love this car, and it's small size is great for someone that doesn't have to worry about a lot of cargo room, but is still great for someone that needs a lot of space. The fold-down seats are definitely a plus if you're moving a round a lot or transporting large boxes. Gas mileage on it is terrific - between 28 and 35 mpg - it's ideal for someone that still has some highway driving to do, but wants good gas mileage in the city. On the inexpensive side as well. Sport model with all upgrades was just over $17k, and it has the best safety rating of its class.
