2007 GMC Sierra Classic 3500

When it comes to the GMC Sierra Classic 3500, we might as well say "we hardly knew ye."  GMC follows the Chuck Taylor retro model by taking the same old school product and re-marketing it as a classic.  The old one ton model makes way for the new Sierra 3500 that hits showrooms later on in the model year.

Regardless of its age, the 46 trims give you plenty of choices depending on your preferences.  All trims come with a standard 6.0 L, 300 hp V8 engine with a choice among 4 or 6 speed automatic transmission and 5 speed manual.  Shell out a little extra and you can upgrade to an 8.1 L, 330 hp or 6.6 L, 360 hp V8.  Standard cab trims have 2 doors and seat 3 while Crew and Extended cabs have 4 doors and seat 5-6.

Overall, reviewers like the Sierra Classic 3500's power and different options for engines and drivetrains.  On the other hand, drivers would've liked better materials and smoother handling.  If you value power over luxury, pick up this solid pickup before it fades into the annals of GMC history.
