Pros

plenty of space

Cons

had a few recalls just like other first year models...big risk is the timer belt will go out of sync on every so many models no matter what year.  It will send rods through the engine block and the whole system will blow and the car will not be able to operate.  The entire engine will have to be replaced...my radio was shorted and also had to be replaced

Best Car I've Driven — very hardy light-weight truck. Fits 8, blind spots will take some getting used to. Automatic mirror adjustment is nice. Plenty of hidden compartments and cup holders. Even if it isn't a 4 wheel drive it still can handle the rough terrain like a 4 wheeler. Can take some hits and damage as well...5 star all around in crash testing

Pros

I love my Acadia. It has been pretty reliable.  Ive had a couple of issues with it; but overall a pretty good vehicle.

Cons

Something going on with the power steering making a odd and annoying noise, service air bag and the low oil pressure light keeps coming on; but have been told that they are nothing to worry about and so far it is true.

Looks And Handles Terrific. Love This Vehicle — I love the way it handles; especially in the winter. I was a bit worried about it as I have always had four wheel drive vehicles; but it handles possibly better. Lots of room and love the third row seating.

Pros

It has a lot of space and seats are confortable.

Cons

Build quality. Multiple problems, tranny dropped at 50k miles, A/C, headlights, brakes.... the list goes on of problems.

It Looks Great, But It Is A Maintenance Nightmare — If this car represents 'American' build quality, then I will look elsewhere. We have had nothing but issues ever since we purchased this. It came with GMC certification warranty and we purchased the extended warranty(thank god). We have still had to pay all the co-pays, a lot of the issued are common sense cheap crap.

Get Your Go On! — A comfortable roamy, safe vehicle that gets good gas milage. great for road trips and gear. Spaciously comfortable for car camping. Fabulous sound system Bosc speakers, back seat has own system to plug head phones into. I have really enjoyed this acadia. It's just big for our driveway and only having one child.

Great Car For A Family. — The Acadia has a very roomy interior. It also has a large cargo area. Access to the rear seats is easy. The car rides very well and gets great gas milage. Loaded with safety features. It is a great family car.

It Is A Stylish And Comfortable Ride. Easy On The Gas And Budget. — I love the way it rides and handles. I am addicted to the heated seats and XM radio. Very easy to drive and easy to afford. Interior is easy to keep clean with plenty of cup holders for everyone. Love it!

Nice Looking Poorly Built Cheap — Relaibility, after 9 recals in 2 1/2 year not exactly good quality. Had to change my timing belt because the oil wear prematurely. Wipers failed, door caster broke, Passenger seat broke. I am not impressed and will never by a GM anymore

Pros

Well appointed interiors

Cons

Slow acceleration, sometimes unresponsive.

The Family Car — Comfy, but slow in the acceleration. The looks and the interior are the most appealing features of this "crossover".

usefulness, uniqueness

Cons

no glaring faults

Good-looking For An Suv. Reliable. Moderate Performance For An Suv. Useful — A better than average for an suv look. Quick enough. Ok fuel Economy. Very usable space. Spend the extra on the technology (XM, DVD Player, Heads-up) easy to drive.
