XL

Base
Avg. Price: $10,179

The Ford XL lineup includes 64 variants, due to a myriad of trim, drive train, cab size, engine, and bed length configurations. The XL is the base trim level for this large truck, available in eight variations. Regular Cab models (4) are offered with two-wheel or four wheel drive, each available with a 6.5 or 8 foot bed. The Super Cab (four-door extended cab body, also with 4 variations) have the same option. XL models are not designed for passenger comfort or convenience, and only come with the absolute basics: steel wheels, an AM/FM radio and vinyl seats. All three engine choices are available with the XL, depending on with model is selected. Only the long bed Super Cab models house the 5.4 liter Triton V-8, which makes 300 horsepower. The 2WD Regular Cab XLs are powered by the 202 horsepower V-6.

XLT

Base
Avg. Price: $10,428

You have options of Dvd's in the headrests and touch screen Navigation. From sunroofs to remote start this truck is amazing. Twenty different XLT styles are available. On the Regular and Super Cab models, buyers may choose between three bed lengths (5.5, 6.5, or 8ft.), two-wheel or four-wheel drive, and Styleside or Flareside bodies. Only the long bed versions of the Super Cab can be equipped with the Triton V-8, which allows for the towing of 10,500 pounds. The SuperCrew models (there are six in the XLT trim) only come with 5.5 or 6.5-foot beds. The two longer bed 4WD models get the 5.4 liter Triton V-8. Upgrades for this trim include full power accessories, chrome trim, cruise control, and a longer list of optional equipment.
