Pros

FUN.

Cons

Bland Interiors, Value Depreciation

Big Fun In Small Package. — Big fun in small packages. This is exactly what describe Fiat Palio Stile 1.6 Sport. Mine is tuned to provide a whopping 110bhp power and will be further tuned in coming months. Build quality is rock solid and looks made for drrrrrroooool machine. Only small gripes with the machine are uninspiring interiors. I really wished Fiat had done something to carry young and fun image into the interiors.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

quick response

Cons

gear box and fuel injection ruler

Nice — Nice for daily use but actually the gearbox is not as good enough specially the reverse gear also brakes are not so good but in fact we can say it is a heavy duty car despite of its size and its limited horse power

Pros

Superb performance at reasonable price!

Cons

Don't look at this car if all you are singlemindedly after fuel economy!

With A/c Turned Off, You Can Actually Make The Tyres Screech Due To Acceleration In First 3 Gears! — This car (Palio Stile 1.6 Sport) is among the most affordable performance cars available in India. At just about Rs 4.67 lakhs on road, you get decent space for 5 people, acceleration and speed rivaling cars which are priced almost double (e.g. Honda City), sturdy handling etc. It is solidly built - just hear the doors/bonnet shut with a strong thud! Mileage is surprisingly not as bad as I expected! I get 10km/litre in city with AC on, around 14.5 km/litre on highway and around 12-13 km/litre overall. Only grudge is not getting ABS/Airbags as even an option but I have learnt to live with it. I have written a detailed review on mouthshut.com!

So, Excellent build quality. nice and steady performance on Express Way over speed of 100 Km/hr. Fun factor of the car is, even after driving for hours you dont feel tired becos its so cozy!!.

Pros

Italian Technology & driving pleasure

Cons

aftersales support

25

Boys Love Cars. Men Love Fiat. — Built for safety. The Multijet Engine begs your feet to throttle to the max. With me in the driver seat, Palio will be biting the rear bumper of the car in the front. Only drawback is the ti-up with TATA for aftersales support.

Pros

Lockeable differential

Cons

Rear drum brakes

35

Good Value For Money — Good value for money. It´s actually a 2009 model with lockeable differential. The chasis is pretty high (a standing football fits under it) but it doesn´t have that much roll. Great for bumps. A magnificent semi all terrain station wagon

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros

small and smart

Cons

reverse gear

25

Nice — the reverse gear is most bad thing in this car. I wish if it was having more horse power than it is. Also It should be with more options than it is where it has minimum options and that what makes it not so expensive.

Pros

ride, handling, solid build

Cons

performance, efficiency

35

Fiat — the 1.1 petrol is not really a great buy, might as well plonk in for the 1.6 petrol if u want performance or the 1.3 diesel if u want economy.

Pocket Rocket — Brilliant 1.6 litre DOHC 100 bhp engine, good build and dynamics. A performance hatch which can take a beating on bad roads as well.
