Multipla Fiat — if you want you can average 5,5 liters/100 km. great to drive on open road. if you have a lot of friends or 3 kids growing up. its the ideal car to drive. a good trunck space. a lot of room inside.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Fiat Multipla: The Best 3x3 By Far... — Performance: This is the only MPV I've driven that is actually fun to drive. The handling is really someting special for a car in this class - it's a hoot. Italian flair? Who knows, but I like it. It's an MPV, so rip-snorting performance is unlikely to be paramount. That said, Angel Tuning will chip a diesel to 170bhp & then God help you :) Build: surprisingly good for a Fiat. It's no Audi, but ours has put up with dog's abuse for years without falling apart. Appearance: The only reason that Fiat didn't clean up with this great concept for a mid-size MPV is those looks. Brave to the point of lunacy. We are a vain bunch & no amount of awards & great reviews will make the majority of people buy a Fiat that is so astonishingly ugly you have to look again to check. If you hate it that much, get a post 2004 model with "normal" looks. Costs: This thing gets mid 40's mpg. 500+ miles per tank. Wonderful. Running costs are, again, surprisingly good for a Fiat. Fiat's woeful reputation in the UK sets the bar low, so normal running costs are a nice surprise. Fun factor: Off the scale. Kids love it, I mean really *love* it. Thier friends hope to have a go in the hallowed middle front seat. Other stuff: All six seats are the same full adult sized, so car seats, etc. are a doddle & it really will seat 6 adults comfortably. It's a hugely popular taxi in Italy for good reason. The glass area is vast with a low doorline so small kids can still see out. Aircon is a must, however. All 3 rear seats fold, tumble or come right out for the full Transit experience. The boot is enough for a monster pushchair & plenty of retail therapy. No mucking about with seats. Some owners complain of "Friday afternoon" examples that seem to live in the garage, but ours is fine. You don't completely get away without the expected "Fiat experience", however. There are some niggling problems, such as leaky sunrooves (yes there's 2), dodgy tracking that eats tyres (get it checked every service), & some engine management niggles. The Yahoo group for Multipla owners is wonderful for any issues...

Its Very Good — when i saw this car when it first came out i said i would never own one, now i do, i have a 04 multipla and its one of the best cars i have owned with three seats in the front and back it great for kids, you have to get use to the gear stick being up on the dash and the hand break on your left hand side but that dont take long, the interior is a lovely blue which matches the out side colour, it has aircon two sun roofs and a multi cd changer plus alloy wheels, mine is a 1.9 jtd and overall i think its a fantasic car with a lot of room and six seats u cant go wrong
