Disappointed And Broke — I've owned the car 3 years, now roughly 65k miles on it. Since I bought it I've had to replace at least one tie-rod end every year, along with ball joints. Now both outer tie rods, both struts, lower control arms are shot. I bought the car to get out of a "nickel & dimer", but I'd take it back in a minute to get away from this junk that takes nearly a grand every year to get it to pass inspection. I regret it wholeheartedly. It's decent handling in the snow, too low clearance for my taste. Living in northern Maine (I'm talking 200 miles north of Bangor here), snow is more than a couple of inches. Gas mileage is good, it's one of the only things I continue to like about the car. If you're thinking of buying one, check it out thoroughly and see if any of the recalled items have actually been replaced. If you manage to get one without troubles, count yourself lucky.

2007 Dodge Caliber Se — Compact, fuel efficient, very modern feel, little need for repairs, nice-looking interior with a mini fridge (very cool), fun to drive, accelerates decently, fierce exterior appearance, very little maintenance, an overall fun car to own, and drive. i would reccomend this car to any college student, or on the go person.

2007 Dodge Caliber Sxt — Good gas mileage. Lots of room. Comfortable. Wish it was faster, but that's not why I bought it. No quality problems at 38,000 miles. Wish it had upgraded interior. Overall, I am very happy with it. Good car for the money!

Nice Car.......... — Nice car... wouldn't buy a standard again though! Now days you have to push that clutch ALLLL the way to the floor board. I have very short legs. So, in order to get the clutch down all the way... I just about have the steering wheel in my lap!

Cons

kind of small

2007 Dodge Caliber Sxt — I love the appearance of this car. It's very aggressive looking. It comes with a 4 cylinder though, so don't expect too much. The interior is very clean and modern looking. At nearly 30 mpg, its fairly economical. Overall, I really like this car. It's relatively inexpensive and a good buy.

Oh Caliber How I Miss Thee.... — It was a basic model with an automatic transmission but man was it fun to drive. You were sitting higher hence your front view was better. The CVT transmission was a first generation one but did the job well although it took me a little bit at first to get used to it. I liked the way things were layed out inside but they could of done a better job with the plastics there. I know some of the colors in the next years got better and I know there is a complete overhaul in the 2010 version. If there was a negative to give, it would be that the front pillars are too big in my opinion. Your 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock are taking a hit... you need to get used to looking through the door windows. This was a leased vehicule for 3 years and at that time there was one minor recall (no biggie...it was a brand new model and it was just for a diagnostic issue that the mechanic just pressed a button to solve the problem) and my rear wiper stop funtionning (all under warranty so no biggy). That it! This car runned perfectly for me summer and winter alike. Milage was decent.

Pros

Gas mileage, good price, reliability, decent cargo capacity, looks beauitiful. Practical.

Cons

lack of power... But in all fairness, what else should you expect from an I4 engine w/o turbo? Also can't fit my bike through the back door

Started Out Fantastic And Still Is — I have owned this car for about 3 months now and it has been fantastic, no complaints about performance except power. And the gas mileage is fantastic. avg 29-30 mpg. Love this car inside and out. I'm always thinking of adding a turbo into the engine however that is just me wanting to experiment. For my age at 20 years old in school and my current pay from my job, this car is extremely practical and will only let go of it if I have to.

Is One Of The Best — Is amazing , is , very comfortable , a lot of space, good in gas, smooth ride on highway The front seats have a lot off space .good ac ,the gloves compartment have double deck , u can put sodas on it and u can let the ac go inside the glove compartments to maintain Ur sodas cold in a long ride. Good radio ,am,cm,cd and connection for Ur mp3. And the price is not expense .in resume I. LOVE. MY. DODGE SXT CALIBER ......

Pros

great passing power(CVT tranny) spacious and amazing handling  great soundsystem stock ! =]

Cons

looks and height =\

55

Its Cheap And If You Got A Turbo Charger And Friend To Install It For You Its So Much Fun =] — performance is adequate braking and handling are superb but you can only go so fast with with a sub 190hp engine this car is also pretty heavy if you drop a few hundred pounds this car would be fun no problems what so ever =] i think it looks tooo snub nosed and its too high lower it a bit and get bigger rims standard =\ its pretty fun to drive the high end torque is amazing (the CVT really shines then cuz it holds the engine at 6k rpm during all the accelartion) its a decent car how ever the interior needs a lot of work ! (is it a car or the inside of a plastic factory ?!?!?!)

Pros

low cost

Cons

would like better gas mileage

135

2007 Dodge Caliber — Although the mileage isn't quite what the sticker said it would be (for in town only - it exceeds highway estimate), it's not bad. For the price of the vehicle, it had the most "extras" and special features. It is extremely comfortable, even on very long trips, and very spacious for both front and rear passengers. I regularly have a 6'6" person in my back seat and he never complains about space. It's fun to drive, even though I'm used to a bigger engine, the 4 cylinders perform nicely, even on steep inclines. I would buy this car all over again!!!!!
