Great Car For A Family, Just Not A Fun Car To Have. — What i like is the comfort and practicality. The fuel milage is good compared to my old H2. The performace is good also, with a low cost of ownership. Its a great looking car, but its not a fun car.

Pros

Good comfortable family vehicle, good in the winter, option of switching 2wd to 4wd or auto, and tows really well.

Cons

3rd row is uncomfortable, severe rust damage after only about 5 years and is burning way too much oil.  Also the DVD entertainment requires a remote control to continue playing movies in between vehicle power cycles.

Not Perfect But One Of The Last 4wd Family Vehicles. — I have owned this vehicle from 2011 to 2014 and it is at 150K miles. So far I have had to replace a O2 sensor, oil pressure sending unit but nothing major. My concern is that it is burning too much oil. I have heard of this being a flaw in the GM 5.3L family. Overall it is a great stylish vehicle (black on black LTZ) with plenty of room and plenty of options. We got a great price and I would like to get atleast 50K more miles out of it.

Kristen — This SUV drives so smooth. The handling is equivalent of a police pursuit vehicle. Braking on this vehicle is good and there are no complaints. It could use more horsepower but it is still a show-stopper. The dual exhaust tops it off and shows the world what a real Chevy sounds like.

The Replacement — Well i had to get rid of Sebastian (my 03 tahoe)... but i replaced him with an 07 model named Theodore. The difference in the 2 is not even comparable. The 07 is just like floating on air and the power is amazing! My favorite thing is the navigation although the back-up camera still kinda freaks me out haha. So far i love this one too!

Pros

Beautifully appointed, seats are so comfortable, DVD/CD player and speakers first rate, buttons exactly where you want them

Cons

Not going to say "gas milage" because if you buy a $50,000 truck with a V8 and 340 hp, you know what you're getting into

Love My Tahoe! — Best car I ever owned! I love this truck! If it had a bathroom I would live in it! I only average 13 mpg, but my friend has the exact same model and he averages 19-20. I am an aggressive driver with a lead foot. What's the point of having 340 horses if you don't blow people off the line?! So if you drive it like a grandma, you'll get great gas mileage (better than my 4cyl Outback got) but if you drive aggressively, prepare to pay at the pump.

Clean — Always trust in GM products. These are the best vehicles for travel and leisure available . dependable as are most GM brands . Power and reliability are key when the family is involved . I would recommend the Chevy Tahoe to Family and friends.

Great Ride! — Very nice looking vehicle! Many options and a moon roof to boot. Heated seats and remote start for the wife ... large, real SUV for myself. No cream puff "SUV" here :) I look forward to driving this for many years to come.
