Love My Hhr, It Is So Much Fun And Cute — love this car. lots of room. I have hauled a lazy boy chair, a rattan couch from goodwill , chest of drawers.I suppose you could even sleep in the back if you become homeless. It really is fun, I would have loved the next year super sport but had to buy it now as my Chrysler Intrepid blew and engine at 50,000. The monday after I bought it on a Friday had Breast Cancer Surgery.

Love My Little Heritage High Roof!!! — I've only had my car less than two weeks but so far I LOVE IT! It is fun to drive, good on gas and it looks pretty cooool! I have always owned high output V-6's and V-8's and I was skeptical of it having any kind of power. I was completely suprised and it is not even the SS model. WOW!

Cons

"low gas level" alert sound and timing.

I Love My Car. — I like how big it is. I tend to do a lot of traveling in my HHR, so I also like how gas efficient it is. The interior is a little dull, but then I've found that most cars' are. I know they have been some complaints about it's blind spots, but given the last few cars that i've driven, the HHRs aren't that bad. The Chevy Colbalts' is much worse and a pain to back up in. I think the only actual complaint that i have is the alert it makes when you hit the lee than 40 miles of gas mark. I think this would make more sense at like 20 or 15 miles of gas mark, not the 40 miles of gas mark.

Pros

Nice looking

Cons

Blind spots due to limited glass and massive roof supports

Hhr 1lt — I rented an HHR from National/Alamo car rentals on one of my many trips to Atlanta. While the HHR is a sporty looking vehicle, it is not fun to drive. The limited glass area and massive roof supports causes a lot of blind spots while driving. The performance is average to say the least, it feels rather cheap (could be because it was a rental) and overall, I would not buy one of these.

great car

Cons

Hhr Panel — very good for a 2.2. Like the retro look and gets great gas mileage. I have to show the car to many interested persons that stop to talk. I get about 27-32 miles per gallon. Had it just over a year and has not given us one bit of trouble.

Pros

Incredibel highway mileage, fair in town if I keep the foot off the 'go' pedal

Cons

Cheap interior materials, need to invest in fabric protection

My '07 Hhr — 6.8 litres per hundred - next question? Carries almost as much as SUV's we've owned, reasonably peppy, perfect for the two of us. Can't stop playing with the little in-dash information centre and am fixated on the 'average economy' feature. Best tank of gas - 6.3 litres per hundred with cruise set at 95. Best range - 870 k on a single fill. 24,500 trouble free k's except for a front sway bar end, under warranty and repaired instantly.

Cons

Top Notch — This car has the absolute best gas mileage.. and the fact that it is a manual transmission is adding to the fun of driving! I am getting over 30 mph driving around town! It is attractive and spacious and economical.. No it doesn't have the horse power of a sports car, but it is not your mother's stationwagon!

Car... Truck? — Best truck in it's class! ok only truck in its class. Really not a car, I just hauled a load from Halifax to Ottawa (truck utility car ride and economy). 2.2 litre is more than enough for touring around and good economy7.1l/100k this is as close to perfect as you can buy for 19K

space, practicality

Cons

build quality, materials

Cheap And Inexpensive! — Heavy, no real 'feel', buzzy motor, not refined. Cheap feeling. Clunky front end components. interior is ok at best. Very plasticky. Cheap. Lots of room though. Cheap on gas, insurance is average. Overall, I am impressed with it, but Chev needs to spend more on materials and quality to even get close to the competition. Toyota, volkswagen, honda etc..
