CarGurus Overview

The rear-wheel-drive, regular cab Work Truck is the most affordable and lightly equipped of all the Colorado trims. Standard features and options are minimal here, but air conditioning and AM/FM radio are both included.

Despite a minimal selection of amenities, the Work Truck is available with either of Colorado's engine options: the standard 2.9-liter inline four or an optional 3.7-liter inline five. The four-cylinder makes 185 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque, while the five produces 242 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque. The Colorado offers a maximum payload of 1,523 pounds and a towing capacity of 4,000 pounds. Towing capacity jumps to 5,500 pounds if buyers opt for the larger engine.

This overview covers the Work Truck trim only.
