The LT3 trim is the top tier in the Colorado lineup. While all LTs come standard with a CD player and appearance enhancements like alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and special titanium trim, the LT3 adds exclusive features like color-keyed bumpers and grille, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a sliding rear window.

The Colorado 4WDs get a two-speed InstaTrac transfer case with push-button controls. Fuel efficiency dips from 18/24 mpg to 17/22 with 4WD. The 4WD Colorado models are also available with the Z71 off-road package, which adds a torsion-bar front suspension with heavier-duty shocks, a locking rear differential, oversize tires, and skid plates.
