This Colorado trim, one of 26, combines the extended-cab layout with the upscale LT2 trim and Chevy's four-wheel-drive system. The Colorado 4WDs get a two-speed InstaTrac transfer case with push-button controls. The truck's fuel efficiency dips from 18/24 mpg to 17/22 on the 4WD. The 4WD Colorado models are also available with the Z71 off-road package, which adds a torsion-bar front suspension with heavier-duty shocks, a locking rear differential, oversize tires, and skid plates.

The LT2 trim comes standard with keyless entry, a CD changer, and full power accessories. Heated seats and a sunroof both remain optional.
