Pros

Clean alternative to tahoes, and surburbans, with more carrying space, good for towing also

Cons

Speaker box room is limited and the brakes are weak

Good All Around Truck With Some Room For Small Improvments Which Have Been Made On Newer Models. — Love the truck the only reason I give performance 4 stars is because of the lack of stopping power. It handles great off road, and is smooth on the highway. It's an awesome truck to drive, but a little heavy on gas.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros

This vehicle in sense is a Luxury SUV/Pick Up Truck. There is nothing that you can complain about this truck. Its the best of everthing in ONE VEHICLE.

Cons

32 gallon gas tank. Costs $100 to fill but you wont visit the pumps again for week/weeks.

Best Of All Amenities That Cars Offer In A Suv That Can Be Called A "transformer" — SUV? Luxury Vehicle? Pickup Truck? You make the call....This truck is nice enough to valet at a nice restaurant, this truck has all the ammenities to keep the kids comfy and quiet for hours and hours, this truck can work like a real pick up truck if needed. Again....you make the call.

Everyone Will Enjoy This Truck And Have Many Years Of Plesure. — Most of everything is great about this truck. Everyone tells me that this truck is outstanding and drives very smooth. This vehicle is a dream to driveand is not a gas guzzery. Yhis fex vehicle gets pretty good mileage for a large vehicle. Also you will never get lost as the truck has navagation sytem to keep you on track.

Love It — Fun SUT to make look cool. Handel's great all year around and versatile. Big enough to hall or tow all my toys. Nice to have a full 8 foot bed when needed or full back seat for friends. Love the extra side storage.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Absolutely The Finest Truck On The Road — Absolutely the finest truck I have ever owned. Hauls like a truck, but the ride is totally sedan. Awesome truck. Toyota has never made one even close. It's a truck, a convertible, and a family hauler. Can ever use it as a tent while traveling with the fold-down mid-gate. Honda tried to copy it, but failed miserably

Sweet — Loved this truck. It had absolutely everything, back up camera, heated leather seats, dvd, nav, xm radio, sun roof, heated wiper blades, and chrome accessories. But it also came with a huge price tag, which my ex now has to deal with.

Strong!  Classic Lines!  Really Comfortable!

Cons

Paint is thin.

2007 6.0 Avalanche Ltz Is Awesome — It rides great, tows like a beast and looks awesome. It performs like crazy. I bought the 6.0 liter with the .410 rear end. I have to be careful not to spin the 20 inch tires! The 6.0 engine idles a little rough, but it is almost undetectable. I wish the paint was a little thicker because the leading edge of the hood has become pitted from bugs...I recommend a shield to prevent it. I have had someone offer to trade their Corvette with me...NO WAY! Hard to go wrong with an Avalanche!

fuel mileage, two recalls

2007 Avalanche — versatility, two-recalls however, plus once the shift cable became disconnected leaving the truck stranded. due to ever changing and mostly increasing energy costs and personal drive to be green we will probably turn it in when the lease ends. it is a nice riding vehicle and my wife enjoys it.

Best Truck I've Ever Owned — One of the best trucks i've ever owned. Just wish I would have upgraded to the LTZ package. Performance is respectable with the 5.3L V8 and the Flex Fuel option is very nice. The truck is very fun to drive with the abilty to take out the back window and lower all the windows make a open air experience.
