Audi A4 3.2 Quattro — Performance is a relative term for this car. Good solid constant torque band, Love the Quattro on rainy/snowy days. Classical Audi pilot cockpit style interior. Decent gas mileage, about 60~70 bucks to fill for about 600km. Somewhat horrible for city driving but get a very good mileage on the highway. (5L/100km ish) Def. Fun car to drive. wish it had jus a little more kick but unnecessary.

ProsThis car is fantastic. The only problem is they didn't push more power out of either of the engines. It's comfortable, fuel effiecient, and does well in foul weather. Even though the back seat is a bit cramped, it gets around in comfort, speed, and style. For this, it gets 4.5 stars in my book. ConsThe amount of power is lacking, the 50/50 torque bias ratio favors understeer (RS4 and S4 have a 25:75), long shift throws have to be corrected with short shifter

The Most Fun To Drive Audi — This car has a wonderful powerband from 2800-5800 rpms. This makes for a lively commute and a quick, fun overtake on the highway. With the AWD, snow and ice becomes no big deal. The brakes barely fade; they only fade on extreme stops. With the top speed limited to 130, it's a bit of a letdown in the performance department (but, that's what APR tuning is for, right?). The everyday driveability is fantastic. As a commuter, I recommend getting the manual. It's so fun to row through the gears when you can, but satisfying to shift down two gears and drop the hammer to get around a pokey. The styling is somewhat conservative, but it's still aggressive. It's very appealing to those who are car nuts. The cost of maintenance is somewhat higher than others, but in its class, it's just the same. The gas mileage is exactly what they say it will get: 18mpg city and 28mpg highway. And, that's with "spirited" driving. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Love My Baby. — The performance as in handling and acceleration is superb. The maintenance is the only downfall-so expensive! I love the appearance of my baby, he is very stylish and pretty-both inside and out. Cost of ownership? Don't even ask. Overall, Mister Lightyear is an amazing car to have and I am thankful to have such an amazing luxury car. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

A4 Belongs On The Highway And Back Country — This car is good, but has a few flaws. I think the brakes are very touchy and when the car is at slow speeds it is even worse. Although the engine is very quick and fuel efficient, it is ruined by the gearbox which will not shift when you want it too. So if you want this car, get the manual transmition version. But when you put your foot down when on a Back Country or Highway, this car is amazing. You have loads of torque at any RPM, and when the gearbox finally does shift you are put into the back of your seat. For a highway and back country car it is great, but for a town or city car, it is awful. | ||

Audi A4 2.0 Ts Quattro W. Bsr Chip — Awesome Performance, had mine chipped and equipped with BSR exhaust pipe and BSR airfilter to give it better response and eliminate the turbo lag. Now it has 261hk/379nm and does 0-60mph on 5,5sec. It's great fun to ride it, it handles amazing & the brakes are a true lifesaver. While it ofcourse will use alot of fuel when you are pushing it, it's actually pretty economical on the highway and will do 15km/l @ 110km/t if you use the cruise control. | ||

Great All-round Vehicle — Great performance for a 2 litre diesel turbo! Excellent build quality compared to my Nissan. Very low on fuel even if you have a heavy foot. We went on a weekend trip from Pretoria to Clarens (Free State) and back, I got an overall fuel consumption of 16km per litre doing 140km/h+ most of the time. The styling is what you'd expect from a 4 door saloon car, it's not a lamborghini. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
