Don't let the four-cylinder engine scare you from the 2007 RDX, Acura's newest entry into the crossover market. A variable flow turbocharger gets the efficient 2.3 liter engine's horsepower up to 240, providing 260 lb-ft of torque at 4500 rpm.
Unfortunately, the 2007 RDX also gets gas efficiency more similar to that of a V6 car than an I4: 19 city and 23 highway. These numbers are still pretty great for an SUV.
The interior is decidedly cushy, and cozy without feeling small. The little SUV is built on the same platform at the Honda CR-V and seats 5. There are plentiful electronics in the dash for passengers to fiddle with.
Drivers of this car love the tight handling, although some have complained about the lag in switching to turbo. Others have commented that the brakes could be improved, but overall, most are enjoying their experiences with the 2007 RDX.
