Kick-ass — 2.0 16v golf mk1 with disc brakes all round done lots of mods and still lots 2 come maintenance is one of the problems with this motor because everything needs 2 be imported and comes at a high price. its got great sound system.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Vw — good car to have - steady on the road and takes curves well ---- fuel consumption not bad - comfort not as good as Audi, Merc and Beemer but it's acceptabe. All in all i recommend this ride. hee hee hee hee. ouch.

Handles Like A Dream — This care handles like a dream and is packed full of German engineering that used to be only seen on much more expensive cars. It has all the right umph. The maintence cost is a bit high - but less frequently needed than cars of later year. I have had no major mechanical or electrical problems so far and I have 23000 miles on it. The gas mileage is good at times and bad at times - It all depends on how hard you are driving it. The interior is comfortable and spacious for a small car. It has heated seats with a cloth interior which is a first for me.
