Good Car But Expensive For That Kind Of Car — Yes, once I had the bad Idea to leave Volvo for Volkswagen, It was nice to work there but I really don't like the cars that much. Barely Filled It Up — Sold it because im waiting for the one with bigger horsepower, slow acceleration, but overall the car was mint.. sold it for more then i paid was a great first car, wished i never sold it to tell you the truth.. no problems ever occurred except for a wheel bearing which had to be replaced due to the rims, nothing more | ||

Very Fuel Efficient And Solid, Torquey, Great Suspension, Slowww. — This car got 40 miles per gallon combined city-highway on a bad day. On a good day it got 45 mpg. It was awesome and fun to drive, it loved curves in the road. I put 40,000 miles on mine and traded it for an Audi A3. It's too bad the current TDI only has 105 HP... | ||

For What It Is, Its A Pretty Sweet Car. — VW Jettas were never meant to be race cars, so i guess it shouldn't really be reviewed like one. However, it does give you a pretty good sense of performance, particularly when you first drive it. The main thing you notice when driving the car is that you barely feel speed. You can literally be doing 90 mph and feel like you are doing 55. Acceleration is by no means blistering, but it is relatively quick and won't get you into any hairy situations trying to merge into traffic. The car is very comfortable for a tiny vehicle, and while the suspension is stiff enough to keep the car from rolling through turns, it is not so bad that your back hurts after a drive to school. Overall I think this is a great car. | ||
