Leading Toyota Quality — space is limited but adequate....should have the 4X4 thats why I am buying a new truck with 4X4. This is definately a powerhouse can tow more than rated. This truck is virtually maintenance frr, gas, oil and tires. THis truck holds it's value very well as I have seen these trucks with over 200K miles and still running very good. This truck has a new transmission replaced at 100K (Toyota told me it was odd that it had to be replace, but not uncommon)

Excellent Truck — I have been a very satisfied owner of my 2006 Toyota pre-runner SR5 I would highly recommend this truck. I have owed other Toyota trucks and will continue to treat each purchase as an investment. No other truck can compete

Great Truck For You If A Fullsize Is Too Big — This can be a great truck for someone who lives in a big city and is tight on parking space. But if interior space is what you want look elsewhere. Wish it got better mileage. 14mpg combined is prety weak for a v6.

Pros

Great drivability, turn radius, zips through traffic like a car.

Cons

Can't tow a ton of weight but that's what the Duramax or Tundra is for.

Awesome Double Cab Truck That Drives Like A Little Sporty Car. — I liked how it can maneuver in traffic and handles in snow and ice. Even though it's small we can fit two car seats in the back with room in the middle for bags. Just an overall great smaller truck.

Pros

It handles great, and has plenty of space. It's fun to drive.

Cons

It's a 4x4 so gas mileage isn't as good as my Charger, but for a 4x4 it isn't bad.

I Love This Truck — I have always wanted a truck and now I have the ultimate truck. It's as big as a regular truck without the price. The cargo room is great and has come in handy for many things. The fact that it's a Toyota is a plus. Comfort, room, sporty, handles great, and it keeps the headlights out my eyes......

Toyota Dependability — I've owned this truck since it was new in 2006. It has been a very reliable vehicle. What initially attracted me to this model was the sporty look. I also didn't mind that it was a 6-Speed manual shift vehicle. It's a great truck!

The Best Truck I Had Ever Owned — There are so many things that can be done to the Toyota Tacoma. Modifications are unlimited to your requirements. The Tacoma has been a very reliable truck for me when driving to and from work, or towing a trailer across the country and in rain or shine. I am definitely buying another Toyota Tacoma in the near future.

Nice Truck — It is my favorite truck as far as looks go. I like the take off power of the truck. It handles well in ice and snow. It is reliable. The oil filter location is awkward and annoying to change. The engine is pretty loud.

Great — This is a great vehicle, 4 cylinder engine which saves fuel but it is a 2.7 liter which gives you the power when required. Access cab is good to carry personal stuff inside the cabin. It has the long bed which is great to move things around.

Awesome — I miss this truck. Sold it to get an SUV for the wife when we found out we were pregnant. It was fun, useful, reliable, great in the snow. Low maintenance cost. High resale. Great towing capacity. Factory Tires weren't great but with an upgrade it was all there!
