Pros

Great little car. Reliable and the cabin seems spacious for a compact. I like the interior and the flexible space in the back has proven useful when transporting items from stores. I like that it has "pep." That is, I usually can lead traffic even when I'm not pressing the gas pedal hard. The normal mode on the car is Overdrive and that may have something to do with it. I just know I like it. I think the car is pretty. So it seems more like a chick car. But I have seen men drive it.

Cons

It's hard for me to say because I really have enjoyed this car so much. People have said that there was a lot of cabin noise, but I don't really notice it.

Great Little Car — Terrific gas mileage. I never worry about gas prices. It has 138 hp which may seem underpowered for some, but I think this car has a lot of pep. The cabin seems spacious for a compact car. It is easy to park. Very low maintenance costs. I paid for the servicing from the dealer which seemed costly, but no major repairs. I really like the car, so it's hard to find the negatives. It serves me well.

Fantastic Vehicle — Pros: I got 35 mpg on a highway trip and 27-30 mpg around town. It's quick, roomy, and fun to drive. Cons: Steering wheel does not come up high enough, slightly noisy (common with all 4 cylinder cars though), CD player does not play some home made CDs

Great Car For A Family — Great for highway ride. I travel 60 miles to work 5 days a week for 3 years never gave me a problem. Gas and Gear shifting is great with a manual handles very well on a clear day or threw rain, sleet or snow. Great for the family. Grade A

Great For What We Use It, Shopping And Short Trips — Versatile, problem-free and economical city transport. Perfect for shopping and short trips. Large items are no problem. Rear hatchback window opens so long items can be secured without damaging the interior of the vehicle. The only option that should be standard is the cargo net, use it for EVERYTHING from eggs to flowers. Ed

Amazing Car, Fun To Drive, Spacious Enough To Haul — This car is amazing, Im able to fit my bike in the back with no problem! The overall ride is very comfortable, and roomy. It is a great car with enough sportyness to appeal even to me! Also can not complain about the fact that it is a Toyota

Best And Worst — This was an awesome car. Loved the body style. Their was as much room in the rear seat area as in the front seat area. Plenty of performance and storage. My only complaint was Front Alignment Issues. Great Car though.

... — Good: saves gas, good performance, alot of room, light on insurance, delivers good power, great handling, comfortable seats, affordable car, etc... Bad: too much blindspots, crappy manfactured front windows(easily chipped or cracked) Other: better than a goddam Civic/Accord.... for people that hate civics or accords like i do, loves to smoke them with a car like the matrix(or any other cars)

Matrix For Life. — The car looks very sleek. I have had it compared to the look of a lexus! It drives very well and the hatchback is very useful. It is the perfect car. It isn't tiny but not huge. I can comfortably seat 5 or put the back seats down and fit a lot of stuff in the back. The price is also very reasonable.

Roomy But Too "weak" — Comfortable. Great family car. Good for road trips. Cool appearance. But won't accelerate too much, will slow down pretty quickly.

Good Economical Car That Isn't Too Nerdy. By bASSmAN17
