Great Car For Anyone. It's Safe, Quick And Fun. If It's For A Kid, I'd Get The Turbo. — Great car! Amazing build quality, technology, and cost for car. A little expensive, but worth it. Awesome safety features and boxer engine mounted low for a good COG. I only wish I had the turbo model...And as always, sweet AWD.

Pros

If you like anything to do with driving, you should drive a Subaru.... Period.

Cons

Being that it is a turbo....... and I like to drive it as a turbo should be driven, it has a thirst for Premium fuel..... but only when driven hard.

Like Every Other Subaru Owner You'll Talk To....... I Love My Car. — Alright, so it's not a Limited it's just a 2.5 GT. It must be a Canadian spec vehicle because GT Limited is the only option I could choose for 2006. What this means is that the car doesn't have leather or a sunroof. Nevertheless, what it does have is a detuned version of the WRX STi engine. It's a 2.5L DOHC Horizontally-Opposed turbocharged 4 cylinder rated at 250 HP and 250 LB-FT of torque. Power is put to the ground through a 5-speed manual and Subaru's full-time symmetrical all-wheel drive system. Simply put, this car goes like STINK. Styling is pretty subdued in the GT model though. Other than the hood scoop and 17" alloys shod with ZR rated rubber, it just looks like a regular Legacy. It's a simple, clean-cut sedan that doesn't have the "Hey look at me!" styling of the WRX. As for build quality, it's a Subaru. Panels fit evenly, doors close with a solid thud, tolerances are minimal and unforeseen mechanical problems are a rarity. Not to mention, safety ratings are top of it's class and the AWD system is quite simply one of the best on the market.

2006 Spec.b Legacy Gt — number 340/500 in the world, best car ever. Build quality is great, More power than you'll ever need, but you can keep it out of boost around town, dont pay alot in insurance, but theyre about impossible to find. The most fun car i've driven, and i've driven shelby gt500s and corvettes

Pros

snow wont stop you, police don't notice you, and there is lots of room for
friends

Cons

a snowed in unpaved road can stop you, poor mpg for summer driving,
rattling dashboard

Not Bad For Four Doors, Still Sporty. — I think that the fuel economy could be alot better, if it wernt for the turbo's high boost for power delivery at all times, but it handles great and still gets about 25-26 mpg. stereo needs improvements however i do not have the factory sub woofer. Suspension is a little on the stiff side which shows the cheap plastic interior no favoritism. lots of rattles and creaks. there are recalls and TSB's but it still has not fixed that problem.

Averaging 29 miles to the gallong in a AWD Wagon

Cons

The sun roof squeaks

You Don't Get One — Getting fantastic mileage out of this car. The sun roof squeaks a little bit and I haven't taken the time to figure out how to quite it but even with the great fuel mileage it has more Get up and go than my 03 Baja. Nice Wagon for the family.

Ultimate Sleeper. — Ultimate Sleeper. It looks just like a regular old sedan at first. Then you get the second look and it hints at a sporty nature. It looks as if it's just a simple family sedan. But, it can smoke all the kids driving Civics, 350z, G35, Accords, 240sx, 328i, etc.

Interior build quality could be better. It attracts head on collisions by drunk drivers :-(

Love The Car Wish I Still Had It! — Perfomance: Amazing 240hp AWD. Build Quality: Outside and Mechanically amazing, interior could be better. Appearance: Gotta love the hood scoop for the top mount intercooler, has a sleeper look no one excpects it to be as fast as it is. Cost of ownership: Just regular maintenance. Fun Factor: Very fun AWD Turbo is the best!
