2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Limited Wagon Trim Overview

The 2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Limited Wagon combines all-wheel drive confidence with turbo power and sport performance, delivering an all-purpose vehicle for family or outdoor use.  A turbo version of the 2.5-liter H4 engine produces 250-hp and comes only with a 5-speed automatic with Sport shift mode.  The wagon sits on 17-inch all-season tires and features a hood scoop, rear spoiler, sport seats, and a Momo steering wheel. Other equipment includes limited slip differential, ABS brakes, dual front-side and front and rear head airbags, foglights, mirror turn signals, and daytime running lights.  Fuel economy is around 19/24 mpg, noticeably less than the non-turbo Legacy wagons.

A 62-cubic foot cargo space is available with the rear seats folded down.  Roof rails are also standard on the wagon, as is intermittent front and rear wipers.  Power front seats, full power accessories, keyless entry, cruise control, a trip computer, heated leather seats, leather trim, a CD player, a sunroof, and a security system are included.  Tie-downs, storage compartments, and a cargo cover area also standard.  You can add an electrochromatic rearview mirror and remote garage opener as options.  Good acceleration and confident handling that comes with the AWD are highlights for owners of the 2006 Legacy 2.5 GT Limited Wagon.  Downsides are some turbo lag and a small backseat.
