Pros

Super fun to drive, very torquey, great build quality, great features for price

Cons

Gas mileage isn't nearly as good as my Civic was, but still OK.

2006 Scion Tc — * Performance: Most fun car to drive I've ever owned. The 2.4L I-4 gets respectable gas mileage (25/30) and has a ton of hp/torque for its size, stock (160hp/165tq) which makes is a blast to rock around. (Plus, the mods I've done help out even more with the tq/hp and throttle response) * Build Quality: Best quality I've ever had in a compact car - far superior to even my dearly loved 2000 Honda Civic EX, and I'm pretty sure a lot of that has to do with the fact that it's built 100% in Japan. (The Civic was built in the US) * Appearance: I really like it. Looks great to me! * Cost of ownership: Haven't spent any money on maintenance besides oil, which could be due to the fact that it's got less than 30k miles on it. =) * Fun factor: Most fun car I've ever owned, by far. =D

Pros

Styling, engine, hatchback, wheels, moon roof.

Cons

Highway noise, rattles, gas mileage seems like it should have been better.

Great Car With Some Quirks. — This was a pretty sweet car. It's a hatchback, so you can load it up with all sorts of stuff (I hauled 12' 4x6's when I built a swing set, and all the wood to build the 6' stockade fence in the back yard). Acceleration is peppy due to its 2.4l Camry engine. Styling was pretty unique when it came out and it turned lots of heads. Panoramic moon roof was pretty cool. The stereo was fair so I replaced it. Car was pretty noisy on the highway, though, and it developed a few squeaks and rattles that drove me nuts. Plus it's a 2-door, which gets old when you have a kid's car seat back there.

Pros

Handling. Quiet ride. Sporty looks. Strong aftermarket support. Upgradable.

Cons

Paint is kinda soft. A bit heavy(3,000 lbs.)!

Great Car For Price. — Great little car for the price. $17,000 for all this? Auto up/down windows, power locks, immobilizer, keyless entry, two sunroofs(one opens like moonroof), 17" inch alloys, 160 horse 2.4 liter, 23/29 mpg. Good handling. Decent acceleration. Good amount of torque. Smooth ride. Surprisingly quiet inside. Comfy seats. Very roomy backseat but not much rear headroom.

2006 Scion Tc — This car had fairly good acceleration... most of the time. I was always having problems with the transmission, and the car stalling while i was driving. The dealer never could seem to find out what was wrong with it. I was disapointed with the gas milage that the car got. i expected to get better fuel economy from a car made by toyota.

I Liked The Look, But The Car Lwas Iterally Falling Apart After Few Years!!!! — Many many standard features including glass roof. You get what you pay for....So many things started to rattle including the roof and the hatchback door!!! But, I liked the look and it's my first coup!

Fun, Most Bang-for-your-buck You Can Get — Do the math. No other car gives you this many features for such a low price. Gorgeous wheels, a moonroof, a kickin' sound system, a quality interior that looks a lot more expensive than it is, and all around solid styling and materials. On top of that, the performance and handling of this car are strong, and it's so fun to drive. You must get the standard!

Sweet Little Car — I overall love the looks and the driveability of my car I have absolutely noting to complain about everything is easy to get to and Toyota did a good job with this car. The car handles smooth with which ever way you turn the wheel it goes it also has a lot of power for such a little engine

Pros

Awesome little 2 door car. Has a lot of cargo capacity, especially for 2 door. Has really good acceleration and a pretty good ride as well.

Cons

This car eats tires, and they're pretty expensive too. These cars have electrical gremlins (blown fuses, interior lights going out), that can be pretty annoying to deal with at times, seems to be a common problem among tC's. Torque steer is definitely noticeable. Rear hatch handle is plastic and flimsy and will break on you, very bad design on their part.

Fun, Reliable, Good Looking Scion. — Like I said in the cons, car is kind of quirky. The hatch seems to be one of the more problem areas; it chirps on bumpy roads, the handle was designed poorly and anchored with thin plastic, and the interior hatch trim pieces fall out of their places. We had an alternator go bad on us, so the car was killing batteries for a while. Overall nothing major has gone wrong, and this car is the trooper in our family.

Pros

Fast, handles well. Good gas mileage.

Cons

Let it sit for two winters and had to replace the struts as the seals went bad.  Good have been just their time to go or due to sitting around. But now they are new :)

Great Car — Car is good all around but don't let it sit around. You have to drive it. Alot of room for a car this size and the back seats recline and are comfortable. It is easy to drive and see. It's style holds its own.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
