2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 4dr Minivan Trim Overview

Pared down to only two trim levels this year, the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 minivan comes in either front or all-wheel drive.  The 2006 Montana SV6 front-wheel drive comes with a 3.5-liter, 201-hp V6 engine with only a 4-speed automatic.  Three rows of seats fit 7 passengers, accessed by manual dual sliding doors.  Power doors are optional.  ABS brakes, traction and stability control, dual front-side airbags, and 17-inch all season tires are standard.  Side impact bags for the rear rows are a new option this year in the 2006 Montana SV6.

The SUV-like minivan is fully equipped for family comfort, with power features, OnStar, cruise control, keyless entry, a DVD player, CD with MP3 compatibility, and rear headphone jacks and audio controls.  Second row seats recline and both rear rows split-fold for maximum storage versatility of up to 137 cubic feet.  A Sport Package is available on the front-wheel drive SV6, upgrading to the 3.9-liter, 240 V6 engine.  Other options include heated leather seats, power front seats, second row captain's chairs, parking sensors, rear air conditioning, remote start, satellite radio, a rear spoiler, PhatNoise (which stores thousands of songs and videos), and a sport suspension.  More storage options are also available with an overhead console.  Owner love the roominess and style of the 2006 Montana SV6, but say access to the third row is difficult and it could use more power.
