CarGurus Overview
Joining the GT sedan is the new 2006 Pontiac G6 GT coupe, a two-door, four-seater sports coupe with a 3.5-liter, 201-hp V6 engine and 4-speed automatic (with shift modes) transmission. The GT coupe is similar in features to sedan, but with a sportier look. ABS brakes, traction control, and dual front-side airbags are standard. So are daytime running lights and fog lights.. It rests on larger 17-inch wheels.
Interior features are much like the base sedan -- power driver's seat, power windows, locks, and mirrors, a tachometer, steering wheel mounted cruise control, intermittent wipers, and air conditioning. The 2006 G6 GT Coupe does come with an upgraded set of speakers for its audio system. Options give you heated leather seats, satellite radio, OnStar, alloy wheels, remote start, leather trim, audio controls on the steering wheel, adjustable pedals, and choice of sunroof. Highlights of the 2006 G6 GT Coupe include the power, fuel economy, comfort, and overall style. By far the biggest and most serious complaint was about a very leaky sunroof. A cheap-looking dash is also often mentioned.
This overview covers the GT Coupe trim only.
