Loads more convenience are added when you step up to the 2006 Nissan Quest 3.5 SL. Though it shares the 240-hp 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, 4-speed auto tran, and 16-inch wheels with the lower trims, the 2006 Quest 3.5 SL comes with alloy wheels and adds an 8-way power driver's seat and power adjustable pedals to the full power set already standard in this front-wheel drive minivan. An auto-dimming mirror and rear audio controls are other standard features not found in the base or S trims.
Dual sliding doors are standard -- one power and one manual, opening onto three rows of seats. New this year is a front cargo tray and optional rearview camera. Convenience features include a power liftgate, roof rack, cruise control, front and rear wipers, dual-zone climate control, a trip computer, and wheel-mounted audio controls. The 2006 Quest 3.5 SL comes with a lot more options, including a sunroof, 6-CD changer, DVD player, navigation system, satellite radio, the Skyview panels, 19-inch tires, heated leather seats, second row captain's chairs, and dual power sliding doors. Safety is solid with dual front airbags and side curtain bags for each row. Traction control and ABS are standard, and stability control is offered on the 2006 Quest 3.5 SL. Owners love the styling, room, and long list of features. But the Quest also suffers from a lot of repair issues, cheap interior materials, and low gas mileage.
