The base model of the 2006 Nissan Quest minivan is hardly your standard base model. Powered by a 3.5-liter, 240-hp DOHC V6 and 4-speed auto tran and featuring three rows of seats, the 2006 Quest 3.5 comes with cruise control, full power features, a CD player, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, a trip computer, security system, rear window wiper, and a passenger side sliding door. Safety features include ABS brakes, dual front-side and side curtain airbags for all three rows, traction control, a tire monitor, brake assist, and 16-inch tires.
Conveniences abound, with front and overhead consoles, grocery bag and purse hooks, a roof rack and plenty of cupholders scattered about. A two-monitor DVD system is available, as are an auto-dimming rearview mirror, garage opener, and running boards. Optional second row captain's chairs can replace the standard bench. Drivers of the 2006 Nissan Quest 3.5 feel its plenty roomy for a family to spread out and very comfortable. The biggest issue seems to be the gas mileage, which is standard for minivans -- around 19/25 mpg.
