2006 Nissan Armada SE 4WD Trim Overview

Featuring On-Demand four-wheel drive, the 2006 Nissan Armada SE 4WD is a full-size, well-equipped SUV that seats eight in three rows of seats.  A locking center differential, limited slip center differential and automatic locking hubs accompany the 4WD for better handling in rough conditions.  A self-leveling suspension can be added.  Other safety features include 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, skid plates, traction and stability control, 4-wheel ABS brakes and brake assist.  Dual front and side impact bags for all rows, a rollover sensor, a tire monitor, foglights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and automatic headlights are also standard, and the 2006 Armada SE 4WD gets 4-star crash ratings.

Second row split-folds and the third row now folds flat, expanding the cargo area from 20-97 cubic feet.  New this year is dual zone climate control and a CD changer/MP3 player, joining the power driver's seat, power adjustable pedals, rear temperature control, wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, intermittent front and rear wipers, a security system, and temperature display.  Tie-downs and tow hooks are standard, and a trailer hitch can be added.  Running boards help with entry and exit.  Leathers seats, a power passenger seat, sunroof, DVD player, and a new satellite radio are options.  Owners love the power of the 5.6-liter, 305-hp V8 engine in the 2006 Armada SE 4WD, and the combination of capable hauler and extremely comfortable family SUV.  Poor fuel economy is a drawback.
