I Love My Altima — This is really the best car ever. Great acceleration, gas mileage is ok. The braking is great its like I'm stopping on a dime. The styling of the car is amazing it's the perfect color and the body is so smooth. This car is really fun to drive, I usually drive around just to drive it.

Amazing Altima. — This car is both safe and fast. Excellent conditions, reasonable price. Perfect choice for commuting to work and family transportation. Good Reliable Car — Very reliable, good on gas, roomy, still packs a punch. The appearance is quite appealing and its build quality is fine. My car has absolutely no problems due to build quality or mechanical issues. It is also a very cheap car to maintain and fuel. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

2006 Nissan Altima Se-r — This car is rather rare. With all the altimas you see on the road, you rarely see this one. The performance is great with 260 hp, but too much torque steer is a problem under hard acceleration. Wish it sounded the same as an Infiniti G35 or 370z, but it still sounds good for what is basically a family sedan. | ||

2006 Nissan Altima Se-r — The 06 Altima SE-R has the performance and handling of a 350Z. It's an awesome car to drive because no one ever sees it coming. It's a wolfe in sheeps clothing(4 door family sedan). I've left Mustang GTs in the dust wondering what just passed them! On the other side of the coin it gets the kids to the rink in comfort and style without compromising its sports car soul. | ||

Great Baseline Sedan — I picked up a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5s during a lease clearance at my local Nissan Dealer. I had test drove other cars (Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, etc...) that were similar but I really liked the Nissan. For being a 4 cyl I was very impressed at the speed and acceleration of the car. During the year that I had it (I had to trade it in to get a purchase as I began traveling for work) it treated me very well. I know there was recently a re-call on some cars due to an oil problem but I was personally impressed with how Nissan was handling the issue and appreciated that they extended the warranty and offered a rental while the car was being repaired. I also liked the newer body style as the inside was bigger than previous models and had a very sporty and up-to-date styling. Owner for 0 years, 9 months Miles Driven per Year:10,000 | ||

ProsIt's a comfortable family sedan that you can take to the track, ConsSome may thing the suspension is too hard but I love it since it has that hard sporty feel but still quiet and soft enough for a stroll around town.

Bottom Line I Would Buy Another One Preferebly A 6spd But Autotragic Is Still Fun — This car really pulls the VQ35 is now my favorite motor the sound of the intake is rediculous. Braking is very acceptable, and the handling is nothing like the regular altima's I don't even feel the need to modify anything. As far as build quality I haven't had to do anything to it just routine stuff like oil changes transmission flushes there is a little rattle in the dome light which is probably nothing. This car is gorgeous on the inside and out no complaints at all. Gas mileage is about 24 on a good day but daily maybe 20-21 mixed. THIS CAR IS FUN! AWESOME CUZ I CAN TAKE MY BUDDIES WITH ME AND STILL HAVE FUN!! Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Nissan Altima — - Performance: Good acceleration (best in it's class), moderate braking, not that good in handling. - Build Quality: Good but you cannot compare it with it's newly introduced sister (Infiniti). - Appearance: The outer llok is acceptable but it is nice and roomy from the inside. - Cost of Ownership: It is reasonably priced & the maintenance expenses are considerably cheap. - The car is kind of fun to drive due to it's performance compared with it's comppetitors but more than that it is a very practical car. |
