Great Sporty Convertible — Love the drive, especially with the top down. Great gas mileage, very dependable, a great strong ride. Also great Turing radius and you can park almost anywhere. You can't move your apartment with it though. But enough room to bring laundry home from college.

Cool Car — There is a handful of cars that look very different from anything else on the road. They attract attention mostly for their snappy styling, the Mini Cooper Convertible is one of them. Solid BMW design and manufacturing, from the serious convertible top. It's fully automatic, requiring only the push of a button to stow it, and has a glass window, to the firm drive and great tight turns.

Pros

Great gas mileage, very nimble, and very fun to drive!

Cons

Back seats are so small and cramped. I find that laying the seats down make it more usable when going to the store, etc..

Mini Beamer — Love, love, love this car. It is the coolest car I have ever had, I've had it 7 years and I am ready for another MINI or BMW. I love the quality and design of these cars. They are BMW standards, no skimping on the luxury and the safety ratings are the best in it's class.

The most fun hatchback you can find.

Cons

Maintenance can get expensive.

So Much Fun. — We have had this car since it was brand new and love it. It is a super-fun way to travel, especially if you spend time in urban areas. Of course, it's not suited for a large family, nor for cargo, but you probably knew that already! It has handling and German build quality comparable to cars twice its price!

More Mini's Please~ — the green mini is cute, but in this environment (dusty and moon rocks) is unhappy, as I've got to slolem past boulders and craters, actually dodged a crater, then smashed the passenger mirror into a blue recycling bin, the bin tipped over and the mirror spider cracked...this town and the MINI are having problems getting along~ the town.....Clearlake, CA. , the poorest town in northern California...there ain't on streetlights, there ain't no good roads....it's a bust automotively...now if a 4x4 would be right at home here~

Pros

Fun, fun, fun to drive! Excellent mileage and still has super-charged power. Go-kart handling. Easy to park in dense downtown areas. I drove it in deep snow with no problems in Seattle's snowpocalypse, but then again I grew up in CO. Very comfortable on a 2-day road trip.

Cons

Not a big family car of course. I went camping in it a couple times and it was a bit tight with all my gear + dog.

Yeah Mini!!! — I love this car, but hard for it to be my only car. Need a little more room for camping & other activities. Very dependable, always friendly. I love that the automatic also has an option for manual shift. The seats are plenty comfortable for a long road trip.

Pros

the CVT transmission: takes a little getting used to.  a pause while the fluids and belts start doing what they are supposed to is required here, but once you've discovered the M/S mode, the sportiness begins.  You can downshift, or allow the CVT to downshift for you.  Will get up and go but if in M/S mode gets there more quickly allowing the engine to rev to 5000 rpm.  I LOVE this CVT and don't know why people have trouble getting along with it.  Once you realize that it is a German creation, not English, attitudes are different as if on the Autobahn- Going 68 miles an hour and the rpms barely crossed 2000 rpm.  This thing is NUTS.  We are not in mother Germany anymore!

Cons

Tranny is somewhat slow, but once going will keep going. 2000 rpm at 65 mph, that's the stuff we take to the autobahn!

The Most Completely Beautiful Driving Experience I've Ever Had! — People are jealous around here and are hostile towards the MINI..Driving a MINI is like no other. Go-kart fun, I'll gladly pay the extra for the high-test gas, and get at least 20mpg. Could even be less because the sport of driving this one outweighs the cost! 1.6 Liter engine not even 39,000 miles on it. I strongly recommend the MINI if you love to drive! Recommend Cobalt undershield as rocks will chew up the Swiss plastic- GPS dominates the cockpit, and would rather know the temperature of the motor, the amount of volts, Amps and Oil Pressure. As it is one must "GO ON FAITH"- guess this will not be an issue until breakdown~

Love My Mini — I love my little car! It gets great gas mileage and handles wonderfully in the curves. I love the Harman Kardon sound system,it really rocks. Even though the car is a 4 cylinder and not even an S model, it has really good acceleration. It is a joy to drive.
