Pros

Love the look of the front of the car with the big chrome Navigator looking grille. Plenty of power and very agile for a big car. The larger wheel wells are nice incase you want to upgrade your wheels to a larger size. 22", 24", and with minimal cutting even up to 26"s. These cars look real good with the bigger wheels on them jmo.

Cons

The roofs leak in Towncars ?

Affodable And Classy !!! — I don't like the hard shift when it gets up around 40 mph, but I have noticed the older the car gets this did seem to smoothen out a little. I also don't like the delay when I have to put the pedal to the metal. But I hear this is common amongst Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury's bigger luxury cars. But overall its a real nice car. It has plenty of trunk space. I haven't had to put any money into the car, except for the oil changes every 3000 miles. Its a very powerful and comfortable riding vehicle.

Awesome — I absolutley love this car. In four years I have only put 13,000 miles on it. I love the plush leather seats, the performance, it handles like a dream, It can maneuver in and out of tight places very well for such a large car, the ride is so smooth with the air ride suspension and the RWD handling. I was also suprised at how well it handles snow when equipped with snow tires and a little weight I was able to easily drive in blizzard conditions with several inches of snow on the road and 18" in my drive way. I average about 21 mpg in town and on highway trips about 26 mpg. The only real issue I have had is the lock on the left rear door sticks and will not unlock, It has been addressed with the Lincoln extended warranty.

Love It — this car is a great car, I have always owned lincolns and loved them! I used this to transport my grandchildren and had taken it out of state on vacations, never had any problems with it always ran like a charm.

Plesantly Supprised — Hey am in no way a Ford guy but they really did a great job on these and there work vans. I was surprised to see how many of these cars are running strong with high mileage. I strongly recommend there work line of vehicles.

Pros

It's a lovely tank, and my wife and I both like the looks, comfort and amenities. It's a pleasure ti drive and ride in. Luxury level is not top-notch, but very good over all. Visibility is fine. Have only had it for four months; so far, so good. Mileage is reasonable and not too important since we're retired and don't put on a lot of miles. Car has just 35K and is in excellent shape. Gas mileage is around 17 local and 23 hwy.

Cons

With both heat and A/C, sometimes hear a bubbling or percolating sound coming from the dash behind the radio area. I'm told this is pretty common in Town Cars and Grand Marquis'. Long-time Lincoln mechanic says there's a serpentine coolant line and it's very difficult to purge air out of the system and unless the gurgling gets very loud, just leave things alone. Would have been nice to have memory seat and mirrors.

We Really Like Our '06 Lincoln Town Car. — So far we're happy with it. We also have an '06 Grand Marquis LS. It's nice, but the Town Car is more smooth, comfy and roomy. Although the styling has been around for a long time, we think it's uncluttered and classy. If it suits you, get a well-maintained, nice used 2000's Town Car while you can for 40% or less of the original sticker price. Cool!

Pros

Roomy reliable car.  Has been the mainstay for the limo industry for a long time.  Sorry to see they will no longer be manufactured.

Cons

The car is big and finding parking spaces where the sides won't get dinged is difficult.

Highway Cruiser — With minimal care the car will run forever or it seems like it. Used extensively in the limo industry, when we are done with them, then the taxi companies start using them. The car is big and comfortable with plenty of cargo room in the trunk. Easily will hold two adult bodies, ha, ha.

Excellent Car On Inside

Cons

Wastes Gas, Big & Bulky

Powerful Luxury Car — This car is as powerful as a Van with navigation system, leather seats and all of the luxuries! Appearance isn't that bad, and its a bulky car to drive. I like smaller cars.
