2006 Lexus LS 430 Base Review
ProsComfort, convenience, reliability, and abundant luxury features is what made this car the one I had to own. Cons93 Octane, only, for the thirsty beast makes filling up an unfortunate adventure, sometimes.

Bottom Line: Gotta Have It. — Acceleration is great from the V8, 300hp engine. Handling is very good around turns for such a large vehicle. The cost of ownership is low, compared to cars in its class, and is worth every penny. The car is nothing short of a delight; pleasing almost every human sense. Primary Use: Family transportation

Sexy Car — 0-60 in 4.3 sec, strong breaks, sexy handling quality is great no squeaks or rattles. the appearance is great i have a wide body kit on it and leather interiors. it doesnt waste alot petrol. the car is fun to drive especially for drifts and burnning some rubber. i advise people who loike japanese cars and want to feel like a king when they drive.... they should buy this car.

ProsExtremely reliable and exceptionally comfortable. ConsPremium gasoline, somewhat sedate style and pricy dealer maintenance.

Exceptional — I'm an older, conservative driver who appreciates reliability, comfort and substance as opposed to style and performance which makes this the almost perfect automobile for me! My idea of "performance" is fuel efficiency and braking rather than zero-to-60 times and skid pads. If you drive this two-ton car conservatively, you can expect some very commendable fuel mileage. My first year's adventures of about 11.5k miles yielded an overall calculated gas mileage of 25.4 mpg. Not difficult to get 30 mpg in interstate driving - where it really shines - and in the low 20s around town. The brakes are strong and quick and already have come in handy on one or two occasions. And what a trunk on this beauty... Have never driven a better or more fulfilling vehicle. Primary Use: Family transportation

On The Road Again — Great road cars not as stylish as other major models but overall a great car. Fits everyone in the family and gets up and goes when you punch it. Surprisingly great handling around turns and corners. Also has good safety options Primary Use: Commuting to work |
