Pros

Really liked the car's looks and handling.  Gas mileage is great.  Touch screen is convenient as are the controls on the steering wheel..

Cons

It is a good distance from our dealer to get service, but it has been worth it.

Really A Sweet Ride. — Really liked the car's looks and handling and the mileage. The gas mileage generally exceeds 30 mpg for a mix of city and highway. With soaring gas prices this is even more important. The handling is tight and feels secure.

This Car Is A Fantastic Sports Sedan Made By Lexus In A Long Time. — I put 18 inch GS430 optional wheels on the GS300 AWD to make a more sportier ride. Disregard issues with runflats that other people had with the standard 17 inch boring wheels, since you need to buy good sets of all season tires with the sporty 18 inch wheels for a great ride. The car is fast with the power mode on! If need more power, the updated GS350 is out with 306 Hp. The handing is excelent if not better than BMW 530 XI which is slow and heavy. The interior buttons ergonomics are far advance than most of its competitors since its easy and intuitive to use. The gas mileage in the city can be low around 20 but highway mileage is suberb around 27-29 mpg. Handling in the snow is phenomenal since VSC helps keep the car in control on every turns I made in the snow up to 10 inch of snow. I beleive this car is a great car and it may of had some issues but they were resolved by my dealer.

Pros

Great performace for a big saloon!

Cons

Noisy suspension and whimsy electronics

A Good Car For The Money! — It is a really nice car, great accelaration, very good mpg, great looks, but the interior build quality has disappointed me, the interior squeaks/rattles all the time. Also i didn't like how the suspension works for a big luxury sedan, it is noisy, a thing which you don't expect from a class like. The electronics are a little bit strange, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't... But as an overall it is a great car, and if you drive it on good, long roads i recommend it!

Cons

Cool Car - Wish It Was A V8!! — Very nice, luxurious ride. The electronics, lighting features are pretty cool. All wheel drive is assuring. The style of the car is very well done, but overall, the car isn't that quick and not that exciting to drive. After having BMW and Mercedes, the steering seems lifeless. Trunk seems extremely small for a car this size.

Pros

Handling, AC Seats, Sound System, Styling, Fit & Finish, Service Department!

Cons

Loud Run Flat Tires That only Last 19k Miles.

Something Wicked This Way Comes Redux! — Favorite Features Are The AC Seats, & Mark Levinson DVD/Sound system! This Is The Stereo That I Wanted When I Was 16!! The Most Amazing Part Is That I get 26+ MPG City & 32+ HWY. Love The Navigation & Parking Assist. I Also Love the Smart Cruise, Voice Recognition & Back Up Camera. Gotta Love A 6 Speed/Tip-Tronic Auto In A Big-Assed Luxury Car!

Luxury Without Emptying The Wallet — I must say that this is the first Lexus I've ever purchased and the longest I've owned a Japanese luxury marque. That in itself would speak volumes if anyone knew how I go through cars. I've owned over 30 cars in my lifetime, mostly BMW's. BMW's have great handling characteristics and a solid build feel about them. Problem is, they consistently need attention. Those niggling little issues that arise when least expected. Radio failure, engine overheating, complete cooling system overhauls, they all add up to big bucks. That being said, the Lexus GS300 has been completely reliable and has only required oil changes, other than the stated maintenance interval items. When it does require maintenance, I feel that the local Lexus dealer in my area has excellent customer service and never recommends anything I don't need. Heck, before the drought, they'd wash it for FREE every week! Can't beat that! All of the switch gear feels good and looks right in this luxury car. The audio system, Mark Levinson, is phenomenal. The rear back up camera and parking sensors give me great confidence when parallel parking and backing out of parking lot spaces. The only issues that I have, are that the handling does not feel planted to the road, like a BMW, and that aftermarket parts are more expensive than a BMW. What? Why? BMW has a broader aftermarket for parts and therefore pricing is more competitive. With multiple manufactures making the same parts drives pricing down.

Love It. — All wheel drive. Handling. Turn ratio. Comfort. Looks. Lexus dealer does a great job to take care of any issues. I have driven this car for the past 6 years, and outside od the recalls, there have been very little issues with it. If you you want a car that is good for a family and you still have the feel of a sports car, this is a great choice.

Great Car — low roofline, hard for some to get in and out of. low on power, seats could use a little more padding. gas milage is ok. now if that is all i have to complain about life is good. Very quiet and nice to drive car. extremely reliable, confidence inspiring in all conditions and beautiful to look at. Controls are very easy to learn and the trunk space is awesome

Great Deal — Would be perfect if under 6ft tall. Good handling, good gas mileage, decent space in the back seat. Great sound system. Reliable, decent power, great service from lexus. This is my second lexus (third in the family). Enjoy the 400 series a little more
