Pros

The 4WD

Cons

My engine troubles

45

2006 Jeep Liberty Sport — Gas mileage is not that great. I have also had major engine work done on it. I bought it used so it could be from the previous owner, but It would have cost me 1800 if it wasn't still under warranty. It still has problems with the engine and I've taken it back to the dealer but they can't find anything wrong with it. I owned another Jeep Liberty before my previous one and it was fine, so I think I just got a "bad" apple. This car is great for getting into tough areas and the 4WD is a nice feature. The only thing is in the Sport Model it only has PT 4WD so it isn't engaged all the time, the Limited edition has FT4WD so it might work a little better. If you invest in more aggresive tires the jeep will go through anything!

My Liberty — There's not much that I don't like about this Jeep. I've loved it from the minute I bought it brand new off the show room floor. The only thing I would change is the back seat leg room. It left a little to be desired :)

Pros

Rear-wheel drive, plenty of room, torquey engine

Cons

little bit of road noise, rear glass is a little tough to close becuase of the tire

Sporty And Useful — Its a Jeep so the suspension is a little springy or stiff. Love the rear-wheel drive, such a big difference over most daily drivers. It has a wierd harmonic or slight stutter or shaking when in Drive @ idle (like a stop light). Took it to the dealer under warranty and they could not locate the cause or fix it. Had one issue with the rear, drivers-side door, window stopped working and the door wouldn't open or shut. It was in that latched-but-not-closed position. Fixed under warranty. Otherwise, we love the car. Plenty of room for two car seats. The front seats seems a little narrow to me, but I am 300 lbs., and used to driving an old Intrepid. (think living room with a steering wheel.) Engine is nice & torquey, had it pulling trees out in four-low (literally). Took it on a couple of trails, and it kept up easily with my buddys old chevy pick-up. If you have kids, need the car seat room, and can deal with the suspension, go for it!

Good Car If You Have The Money To Fuel It And Repair It — can get around in the snow, rain ice very well can clime rocks and up hills. Its comfy and is a nice ride, has lots of space for a family size car. crappy gas milage, no leather seats, renagade should come with a sun roof, the traction conrtol kind of lags but when you need it it is great love my car and dont want to get rid of it but when its having problems i want to bash it with a baseball bat!!

I Would So Get Another One..!! — I Love My LiLi. It Had Amazing Quality & Life To It. She Was Peppy, Fun, & Fast. Loved Rolling Down The Hghway With Her. The Gas Mileage Was Decent For A Truck Of Its Caliber. The Tires Go Quick, But Its Fun..!

It's A Jeep :) — The window controller motors all went and needed replaced which sucked. There is too much wind noise when the sunroof is open. Also, I have long legs and long drives can mean for some cramps in the knees. But otherwise, I enjoy driving it.

Love It! — I love the small size of the Liberty. I have had mine for 3 years and still love it for the most part. The only bad thing so far is the gas milege. Not good at all!! It's 5 years old now and the trainy is starting to slip, I have never towed anything with it knowing that this is a common occurance. But all in all, I have never had any mechanical problems with it, and it has always been dependable. I live in the snow belt and I have never had to worry about getting stuck, my Jeep is a very Nice Machine!!

Good Ride — My 2006 JHeep Liberty has turned out to be all that I hoped for in a vehicle. It is easy to drive and park. While it is a small SUV it carries whatever I need it to carry. It will go anywhere I needit to go.
