Pros

Decent looks

Cons

Do not even try offroading... or falling from your driveway to the grass.

Typically Japanese. Sensors Go Bad. — Bought this car for the wife and kids. Manual specifically states "do not go offroad", or something like that. If you are looking to step on grass or stones, or do some fording, get a Land Rover instead. Even an old one.

Smooth Ride With Lots Of Power — You feel like your in a luxury car without the cost. Nice stereo with CD changer and it has a sun roof which I love.

Dependable Spacious Comfortable Solid Family Car — Update on Jan 2015: Still have the car. Runs great. Have 157000+ miles on it !!. Amazingly body still looks great. Such a work house, we love to drive it. Except for the expected small repairs, no major issues. Wife wants me to sell but I want to keep it ... forever !!!! Drove the car 120k+ miles. Very minimal issues. No major expenses. Very nice to drive and comfortable. Impressively small turning radius. Packs in lot of space and punch, yet in overall length is shorter than other full size cars. Solid body and paint. Good mileage given the size of the van.

Fn Awesome — It's a great car maybe even considered an SUV it's big but not to big. Drives like a dream and it just beautiful to look at inside and out. Every time I get in it I just want to keep driving. There seems to be no blind spots.

Its The Best In Class In Terms Of Looks , Quality And Reliability. — There is almost nothing I dislike about this car. It has so many thoughtful features and the materials are very high quality. This is the third Honda/Acura product I've owned. They've all been equally as good as this one has and all share similar attributes. American cars don't seem to share any of these traits except for a few.

Cons

Not much cargo room in 8 passenger configuration, OEM tires last a long time but wet traction is awefull (Michellins are much better).

Very Good Car For Any Family And Especially One With A Need To Carry More Than Two Children. — We drove our Pilot for 8 years and put 151k miles on it. It drives very well, and the seating capacity is great! The OEM tires last a long time, but their wet traction is horrible. I replaced with Michellins, and they are 10 times better. Fuel economy is good for an 8-passenger car. The reliability is typical Honda. The car never broke down or left us stranded. Repair costs are reasonable. Buy your factory parts from a Honda dealer online and save a ton of money.

Wonderful Car — Really enjoyed my pilot, but my family outgrew the vehicle, we travel a lot and needed additional space and captain chairs. Had to revert back to a minivan. The pilot is so reliable and drives well. Never had a single problem with it.
