Rust and Light body

Honda Civic Coupe 2006 — I love this car!!! This ride is smooth and slick without having to empty your bank account. Overall perfomance is great. I was surprised at how good was accelaration coming from an automatic transmission. Braking and Handling is a charm unless you want to speed over 140km/h, you can expect the car to act like an eartquake, this after all is a Honda, the body is very light. No need for repairs yet but is already starting to show signs of rust, again, a problem with most Hondas, you need to get rust protection as soon as you start driving this car wich I unfortunatly did not do. As for the looks......I think it's a really nice car especially in black. Doesn't drink up too much gas and very, very fun to drive.....

blind spots

Fun And Reasonable! — I love my civic! For an automatic, it gets up and goes; of course I'd love more acceleration, but it's stock. There is a blind spot in the rear passenger side, I've gotten into an accident attempting to merge to the right and I've seen many of the same year civics with the same damage. It's so smooth and sleek, I love the clean look. It's fun to drive around with a friend, I don't like to have too many people because of the weight-factor. But it gets awesome gas mileage and is a blast to drive!

Pros

good on gas, good sound system for stock

Cons

too low to the ground

2006 Civic Coupe Lx — good car overall, good acceleration, good braking, handles the corners very well. Fast enough for a ticket without evne realizing it. no sqeaks or rattles except when the back seats are down there is a bit of road noise. the dash sctaches easily, my dog has already left a few little scratches, never seen a dash scratch that easy. The shift knob paint is already worn off a bit. Seats are very easy to clean the microfiber cloth seats wipe clean with just water, no fuss. The sound system in it is amazing for stock and the buit in ipod jack comes in very handy. I love the digtal speedometer. Exterior looks is pretty slick, looks fast without even moving :) One negative is its too low to the ground. Amazing on gas, I dont spend allot to fill and it last for a long time. probably almost 800km. Very fun car to drive, I love the manual transmission, makes it that much more fun to drive. I would definately reccomend this car to any of my friends looking for a small car, its pretty zippy for 1.8ltre!

handles well, brakes well, accellerates quickly,

Cons

low to the ground, so bottom can be easily scratched on rugged gravel or steep inclines

All Around Good — Aweosme brakes, handles really well no squeaks or rattles... somewhat sporty look, low to the ground very cheap to buy and maintain, 30+ mpg if you're looking for a cheap dependable, fun new car, this is it

Pros

Great looks, fun to drive, incredible gas mileage, and incredible attention to detail in its exterior and interior design.

Cons

lack of torque, interior "mystery" creaks and rattles occasionally, lots of road noise.

It Looks Great, And Is Great On Gas. — The 2006 Honda Civic EX Coupe is a great car, but is in the shadow of the SI. SOC 4 Cylinder isn't going to beat anyone around the block, but it has a very low profile, agressive look, and has a very sporty feel. Its design is very unique, with a two teir dashboard, electronic speedometer, and a very low angle front windshield. Also has an awesome sound system for a stock car, 350 watt with a 8" subwoofer. Its everything I want in a car minus a few luxuries, and its lack of performance is made up by its economy!

Great Sporty Car — If you are looking for a vehicle that is great on gas, this is it! The honda civic coup is stylish and is also affordable. They are very reliable and it is a Honda, they last forever! You can't go wrong with a civic.

Great gas mileage. Cute little car.

It is hard to get a carseat out of the back seat.

Great Car! — I like almost everything about this car. It was great when it was just me, but a toddler is hard to get in and out. I wish I could just make this car into an SUV with the same gas mileage.

Fuel economy was great, overall reliable car.

Cons

They could've put a tiptronic tranny on it, and about 40 more hp would make me happy.

Overall Great First Car. — This car saved my life when I lost control of her on i95. I spun around 4 or 5 times and crashed into a guardrail. Luckily there was no serious damage and no one else was hurt during this fiasco.

Great Car! — Always ran well. Few recalls were handled by the dealership. Love Hondas as they have always served me well! Fold down rear seats dont significantly improve cargo space but u can carry longer objects as long as they arent too wide.
