Awesome Truck — I have the Duramax diesel with the Allison transmission and the power is phenomenal! The ride is extremely comfortable and the interior is roomy and comfortable. The fuel economy is great on the highway when not towing (~20 MPG), but when towing a heavy load the economy goes down to around 12 MPG. Overall, I love this truck. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

06 Sierra — This truck is a towing machine, it pulls my 10000# enclosed car trailer like it's not even there. It drives like a Caddilac and pulls like a Peterbuilt. The only negatives are it is tough sometimes to find a parking spot and due to the fact it has the two inch body lift for the 4wd it does stand a little tall. It gets 20+ mpg on the highway and about 15 around town. the torque from the diesel is amazing and the 6 speed allison can always adapt to the conditions. |
